The toddler loves it
Most importantly, the toddler loves it. So do the cat and the dog. It's a well made little piece of furniture overall, and it's cute. Toddler is a 31 lb 18 month old. Dog is of similar weight. Neither place any undue stress on the chair, so it should last a long time if it's used respectfully enough. It's not a 5 star though, and these are some of the reasons:1. It's the second one we purchased in 6 months because my husband is convinced the original one cannot be cleaned sufficiently to use again (I disagree, but I understand why he thinks that). There are a few upholstery options available, and I can tell you that the suede-like black chair we got first is not easy to clean and shows every little bit of toddler mess. Buy the cover that is made to go with this. Seriously. In fact, buy two. They're fuzzy and soft, and can be put in the washing machine. Bear in mind that the reason the other one is gross enough that the husband wanted to toss it was not a normal wear and tear event, it's just not something that can realistically be spot cleaned. I'm just not convinced that spot cleaning is sufficient for normal (for a toddler) wear and tear kind of mess on this chair, either...2. These are not heavy enough chairs. I mean, it's furniture made for tiny people. It's sturdy. It's just not heavy enough for toddlers who climb on everything. If weight is shifted to the back during a chair-surfing exercise, it just falls over. Kid went face-first into the wall one day (no, that's not something I'd give this one star for - obviously it's not meant to be used the way my child- who-knows-no-fear chose to use it, and kids fall as a normal part of learning about risk and consequences). It has to stay up against a wall or other solid object. It slides around easily enough that it might have to be repeatedly put back up against said wall or solid object, though. It makes it easy for the adults to move and possible for the toddler to move. He likes being able to move stuff around, so the weight's a mixed bag.All in all, it was good enough to buy again, just be careful with where you put it, and get a cover.

My 1 year old grandson loves this little chair!
Love this little chair. It is low enough to the ground thar my dare devil grandson hasn't got hurt rolling off it. The blue jean dye did transfer blue to his skin when first used. I took the suggestion from another review and sprayed it with scotch guard fabric protector and the blue dye stopped transferring. Did not buy a cover for it yet. It is very light weight that my 1 year old grandson moves the chair around. It does tip so we try to keep it up against something. And he has learned to do the same. But again the chair is so short that the fall isn't to far. The sturdiness is great. He stand and does a little bounce and the chair has withstood him. It has only been 3 months but it seems like a sturdy well built chair. All wood frame. Would buy again and am thinking of getting the couch.

She LOVES it!!!
Got this for my 5-month-old daughter and she absolutely LOVES it.We opened the box in front of her and pulled it out, sat it down and she instantly wanted to go sit in it.She rubbed on it and bounced in her seat with excitement. The fabric is nice and soft, durable, and easy to clean. Her excitement led her to have a little accident in the seat and we followed the cleaning instructions and it came right up. Be careful, the black nobs at the bottom make it easy to move around on all surfaces so if you have a toddler think about putting it against a wall for support. I'll post photos soon.

Confession: I actually bought this for my cats!
Okay, so I actually bought this chair for my cats! I was looking for something that would tempt them to A) lay on and B) scratch something other than my own (relatively expensive) furniture. This actually accomplishes both. I sprayed it with catnip spray when it came in, and the two cats immediately claimed it as their own. (One at a time, of course. They ARE cats!) This is actually an upholstered piece of (small) furniture, not just a bag of Styrofoam beads, which makes it much more tempting and satisfying to scratch, apparently. The denim cover is sturdy, and once they finally DO rip it up, I can just recover it with scrap fabric and a staple gun. I looked first at pet furniture, but it was way more expensive, too small, and frequently made of cardboard. I already have cat fur to vacuum up; I don't need little pieces of shredded cardboard, too!! Anyway, I'm impressed with the chair, and would definitely consider it for small human children, too, if any still lived here. I would say it is just the right size for a 1-3 year old, maybe 4, but too small for a school-age child.

Navy leaches color
It would get 5 stars except it doesn’t seem super stable like if it isn’t wedged against something it could get toppled over. It also leaches out the color when wiped with water and a towel. This is concerning with a baby chewer. Is this safe for her to be sucking, licking or chewing on? Which inevitably all toddlers will do. Other than that it’s a good little chair for the price. I would not pay more than $60 though.

Color bleeds badly
Cute little chair but as soon as our granddaughter dropped something on it and we tried to wipe it up the blue dye was everywhere. It came off on the cleaning rag and then on her clothing🙁

Let your little ones rest easy!
Wife and I got this for our almost 2yr old, who constantly wants to climb up and sit in our chairs. So we thought he would love to sit in his own. And he does! He is tall for his age, and even so, the chair is just a little too big, but he will definitely grow into it. He loves to sit and drink, or read a book on his own. Some have said that scotch-guarding it would be a good idea. I haven't done that yet, but I can see what they mean. It is very very light. He can easily push it all over the room if he wants. Shipping was great. Packaging was minimal: wrapped in a plastic bag and shipped in a box. It had no noticeable harsh or chemical smells when I unpacked it. Materials feel good; the fabric is nice. All in a great char for your little ones!

Good for the price
My tiny 18 month old LOVES it. She wanted to have one for a while. It's good for the price But overall I feel like the quality is strictly ok . I'm certain there will be a sag in a couple of months as the foam in the seating doesn't seem very sturdy. My little one is only 20 lbs so it's ok for her but I guess it's not the best for healthier kids. Id be happy if it lasts one year for her..I bought it at about 65$ so I guess I'll get my money's worth if it lasts that long.

Overall great chair and the little loves it.
Bought this chair for my one year old. She absolutely loves it! The dark colour makes it less likely to see stains and such. She climbs all over it and I never see it wobble or there being a threat of it tipping over, so far. The only thing I don’t like is that for some reason the cushion or padding that is on the back rest seems to only go half way down the backing. Not sure why they would do that or if it was just the one I got but it just seems strange. Doesn’t seem to bug my little one at all though. Overall great chair and I will be buying a second one to go to grandmas house for when she goes over.

Good looking but
The look is really good, but it slides on my hardwood floor, my son almost slipped while trying to sit, I had to put silicone padding underneath so that it doesn’t.Once my son spilled some food on it and when I cleaned it the colour came off.
