Very nice quality and easy to use.
I liked the fact that all I had to do was put the downspout extension right below the downspout. It takes the moisture away from the edge of the house. My insect control tech said that will help make the area less desirable for insects. Easy as pie, and it seems to work!

Quality construction
My new downspout splashguards came in right on time, we’re a breeze to install, and look amazing here at my new home.

Missing the grounding stakes
The color and texture is great. Photo s do not show that they have staking “holes” . So I ordered tent stakes ( metal with a bent hook on the end ) to secure them.

This product works very well. Put at the bottom of my downspouts to spread the water from creating holes in the ground. I would purchase again.

Stays in place.
These are heavy enough to stay in place during heavy rain and divert the water away from house. They seem to be very durable and should last a long time.

These replaced a section of black drain hose on my downspouts. I really like the low profile and the color blends with the concrete.

Not quite as advertised
While the product is a nice looking guard and functional item. It is not as advertised. My guards were packed well and arrived in good shape. However there were two pre-made holes (not shown on the product picture) at the top of each guard, which are clearly for stakes to be inserted to hold them in place. The product description states "Needs no anchoring and installs easily". These are light weight and will most likely not stay in place (or blow away) without anchoring. I have no problem with anchoring them, but feel stakes should be included with this product. VM Express has offered me a $3.00 discount, which I accepted, but this will probably not cover the cost of stakes I need to purchase. Once staked, they will look nice and serve the purpose.

Nice looking, but the material is not heavy enough to stay in place.

Looks good and seems to be quality material, however you need to purchase pegs/landscape staples separately to hold in place
