Q: What size is the jumbo

I believe jumbo is for a size 13 shoe I purchased a medium for a size 8-10.5 which was a perfect fit for my 10.5 work boots

Q: How stiff is the nylon shell? Does the front half of the shell's lateral side (opposite from the arch) turn UP or is it flat?

It's fairly stiff but it does NOT turn up to provide much arch support, if that is what you mean.

Q: Will the 13+ fit a size 14 work boot?

Yes, our size Jumbo PowerTuff Insoles fit the very large shoe sizes.

Q: Any largest size (M 13+) buyer: were these wide enough in the forefoot? Photos look mighty oval-shaped... heel is very wide or forefoot is narrow.

I got these primarily for arch support. The heel and arch are sufficient. The forefoot could be larger. But then, I wear a 15-16EE.
