Veritas Log Scribe

Best scribe I’ve ever seen or used. My boss has one and we used it for log exhibits at a local zoo, I had to have one and bought one. I use it all the time on everything from coping to log scribing, and of course perfect circles.Best part I lost my scribe point 2 years after purchase and veritas sent me a new one the same day free of charge! Wow can’t beat customer service like that!This is the scribe of scribes.

A really good scribe at an affordable price.Really easy to use.It comes in a yellow case with foam padding, a pencil and instructions on how to use it, in case you don't know how.As long as you keep the bubbles in between the lines you will have a perfect fit.The downside is that you can't find any spare parts on the market, or at least I couldn't.Mine has no problems but one co-worker owns one also, and the metal gold wheel that holds the pencil, broke ( after MANY years of use ). Neither him or I could find the spare part on the market. So I guess if that happens you just have to buy a new scribe. Or you might have some luck if you contact Veritas ( which we never had contacted ).I would highly recommend this product!

This thing is amazing! It’s hard, however, to set the rear level, because it’s heavy and not ballanced but the joint is really slippery. It wants to fall side to side. Should be knurled a bit... but one of my favorite toys!

I bought this for my father so he could build a log cabin. It is definetly worth the money! He really likes it!
