GN Resound Unite Mini Microphone

The mini mike is a great aid - especially in meetings and conferences, where some participants don't speak up loudly enough to be heard. It's most helpful when used in conjunction with the remote control, which allows one to adjust volume to match different participants. It also works very well when watching television, since you can simply put it next to the Television set and adjust the volume to suit oneself instead of turning the volume up so high that it is too loud for others in the room.

Pictured item not sent...issue of model compatibility. Was very specific as to what was wanted.

It works but not nearly as well as I had hoped!!! I do not recommend this product, especially at such a high price!!! Not worth the money!!!

Significantly better than nothing, but the instructions offer no clues for how to best aim the microphone. And, of course, the pricing is ridiculous, given that this device that must cost no more than $5 to $10 to manufacture sells for more than a 20 inch remote-control flat-panel color TV, but the whole hearing-aid industry has prices like this, so there's no effective way at present to get around it.

MiniMic worked quite well. the only problem is they GLUE the case together so the battery is virtually unreplacable. So a battery failure means that instead of paying for a $15 nicad battery you have to buy a new $300 MiniMic. Why? Because Resound refuses to provide a means to pop the case and change the battery easily. This is a flagrant abuse of customers in my opinion.

I love being able to be in a crowd and hear the speaker.
