The Brain Games Series is Awesome
I am a community college instructor and often use Brain Games episodes to emphasize certain points to enhance critical thinking, perceptual psychology, and/or neuropsychology. All are very well done, riveting to my students, and typically result in great student discussions. Neuropsychology is in its infancy and it is very likely that much of what we think we know about the brain will soon be out-of-date and point out our naivete. I have lost count of the many psychological theories I was taught that are now considered ancient history. My students often tell me that the Brain Games series motivates them to learn more about the brain. At least half-a-dozen in my recent biopsych class said they intend to pursue graduate study in neurobiology or neuropsychology. Nothing pleases a professor more than having enthusiastic students who are passionate about learning.

Awesome Series For Kids & Adults Of ALL Ages!
So far I have purchased every season of Brain Games on DVD and they keep getting better! I am a middle school teacher and I show these to my students from time to time. They basically beg me to play them, and I really enjoy them as well. They really make you think and some of the facts really blow all of our minds! I like how when the experts and scientists explain stuff so anyone can understand it, even my 5th graders. Their favorite parts are the illusions and games that they can play along with the DVD. They are a great way to understand the concept and see it in real time. I give Brain Games a HUGE 5 stars!!

Great program!
This series offers very interesting programs on aspects of how people think, react, and process things. The information is presented in an interesting and very relatable way that draws the viewer in and engages them. Often the viewer is asked to take part in a given activity as it's being presented which makes the viewer truly feel a part of things. I tend to use parts of the episodes from this series when I conduct trainings with staff members. It provides a pleasant, interesting, fun change of pace and can help to reinforce some of the objectives the training is designed to get across to people.

Focus People... Focus!
I collect every season that comes out. These DVD's demonstrates on how we think and function. It shows a side of us that most of us don't really know or understand. These "games" are designed to show the scientific approach on brain function and reasoning encountered in every day living, dissecting it down to an understanding that eludes us as we go through our every day routines. A must see for those of us that are fascinated by our interaction with others.

An educational and fun show!
Brain Games is a fantastic show! Informative, funny, witty, easy to follow, and entertaining! I often will show this to my high school science students on a day where there's extra time, or when the schedule is messed up for other reasons. They LOVE watching it, and will participate and call out answers. It's great to see them be so sure of their responses, only to find that they're average, or were wrong... They think it's so funny!

the grands
Love this series. My grandsons (4,5,6,10) ask to watch this series when at my home. They prefer it over the avengers, batman, and its a tie with starwars (the game). I use it as a learning experience by pausing it and asking the kids what they think is going to happen next or how they think the illusion was done. I have learned a lot about my grands. Oh, and the brain too. ;)

Great Family Programming
One of the best family shows on TV. The kids actually ask to watch this one. Anything on TV that makes the kids get off the YouTube and iPhones is good programming. Entertaining and educational and something that gives you a chance to participate in games and examples as a group. Leads to discussion and talking is good.

Entertaining and highly educational.
As a sixth grade teacher, I use this National Geographic series in the classroom to help the students try to understand themselves. Season Four is particularly good to understand the functioning of the brain and how we see our world. Entertaining and highly educational.
