LUGZ

I expect the quality that is advertised on the product image. That is not what I received.I’ve bought Lugz shoes several times and they usually have very small dislikable details that are still acceptable. This time, I bought the royal/navy blue and the all white ones. Both have disappointed me, knowing its errors were caused while manufacturing and should have NOT been sold. The biggest deficits are from the left white shoe being on a bad angle & the right blue shoe having the white outer layer going over the blue thin line design. The white outer layer is not placed correctly on both the blue & the white shoes.

These bandits have committed no crime! Soles are very low quality.
Show update! After regular use over the last 30 days (but not excessive) the soles have worn completely thin and split in the front center of the shoe. I suppose for the price this would be expected? Finally! This is the slip on loafer I’ve been looking for that has the style, comfort, and price in one. The sole is comfortable and without being overtly thick. Inside the shoe the lining is soft and breathable for wearing with no socks! My photos show the difference between the Lugz clipper and the Lugz bandit, which is on the right in the photo. After trying the Toms and vans, these are the best of all of them.

Outrageously mis-sized!!!
Have returned these already, could not even get my foot halfway into these shoes. I have worn size 8 1/2 for decades. The box and the shoes both were marked 8 1/2 but were not even close. I lined up these shoes sole to sole with a pair of slipons that ARE 8 1/2. These shoes were about 3/8" narrower and at least 1/4" shorter!! Waste of my time.

Don't wash in a washing machine.
The shoes arrive on time...the sizing was very accurate...and they looked great. But buyer beware: after washing them in the washing machine they are no longer totally white (see pictures). We have tried washing them by hand to restore their original white color, but we have not been successful. ;-(

Another nice shoe from Lugz
I got these navy slip-on shoes from Lugz and really like them. This is my second pair of shoes I have bought from them. As a brand, I like Lugz because they seem to be well made but are affordable in their pricing. These specific shoes are no different. They were affordable and are quality made. I like wearing them with shorts or jeans without socks. It’s nice to just slide them on and go. On the negative side, they are not very supportive or padded, but I didn’t really expect them to be. If you have ever worn Vans these Lugz are similar in support and padding. I would not wear these for a long day of walking, but they work great for daily wear while also looking good. Also, I had to buy a half size smaller than what I’ve always worn. My standard size was too big on me in this shoe which surprised me since my other Lugz fit perfectly. Once I went a half size down they fit much better.

Nice casual shoe...sort of
Nice casual shoe to wear out to the grocery store, or anywhere else for that matter. They initially feel sturdy enough to last a while. No complaints. I bought a second pair to work in the yard with.Edit: I bought these on Sept 20 2020...The tan pair I bought has already had the sole split, now that pair is useless. Cheap. Save your money and spend it toward a better pair. I have never had a pair of shoes die on me this soon. They never got a chance to grow old, to develop holes in the uppers from use, or stink like a pair of bad boys.

Terrible fit.
Three stars for what feels like a quality and well made product.Minus two stars for terrible fit. I ordered a size 9 and the shoes arrived that size. However, this pair of shoes is at least a 1/2 to a full size too big. Not worth the hassle to return this pair and hope the next pair would be correct size 9 or a large size 8 that would fit like a 9. Will just have to wear thick socks with these.

Ok, but...
This is only an initial review after about a week of use. The rear heel is wearing pretty quick! I do not drag my feet! I honestly don’t expect these to wear long at this rate. They are definitely a cheap shoe and it’s expected for them to fall short of better shoes, but at this rate I can probably get more use out of the Vans pros that I usually get than however many of these that can be purchased for the same money. They aren’t as comfortable as the vans and converse. Speaking of converse, these are a bit more narrow like them. If you won’t be using this shoe much and don’t want to dish $50+ for something like it, it’s honestly a decent choice. For every day use this definitely gets an “Ah hell no!” from me. They’re just too chintzy.
