I replaced latch and cable
The cable seems to be too long or maybe the latch is defective. It still is not working and is a pain to replace. I do not know where the slack is at, I need to take the hatchback apart again. This is the first cable I have replaced and the second latch. Toyota needs to improve this latch system.

It fit my 2006 sequoia perfect liftgate is working great so far so good

This one works!
It is about 1/4" too long but easily fixed with a fishing weight crimped on the cable by the ball end. Works like a charm!

The cable is too long to work on 2003 Sequoia.
I installed this cable and it is too long. I now have a backdoor that I cannot open. Can't remove it, can't get credit for it.Don't claim that it fits and works if it doesn't.If I could rate it a 0 (zero) I would.
