Excessive Force 2 [DVD]

B Grade
The affirmative action fight scenes keep the interest up. Agent 99 in the TV original Get Smart occasionally, as a metajoke, would fell a large tough guy with a single feather-weight punch. It had that feeling. Not so bad that you bail out early. Clumsy plot points.

Great movie.
Not too sure why Stacie Randall didn't become a bigger Hollywood star. This movie was awesome.

Excellent B Grade
Much like its predecessor, this is a good B grade movie. You don't get it for academy award winning performances, you get it for action and a plausible, decent storyline with a woman who can kick ass with the best of them. I like movies that finally show women taking hits as hard as the men do.

Awesome Stacie
This movie was very good. The action level was great. I liked the storyline. I just want to know why after all that hard work does Stacie's name not appear among the credits. She was the whole reason why I enjoyed the movie. Every now and again I pull out the movie and I watch it over again.

Chapters 1-3 were really good, with Stacie Randall doing good martial arts/fight scenes
Chapters 1-3 were really good, with Stacie Randall doing good martial arts/fight scenes; I thought it was going to continue, but the last hour or so, it got pretty bad;fake -type fights--She would get hurt, then patched up then go out for more punishment. No matter how many times they flashed close-ups of her pretty eyes(about 1/2 second each), it still kept on being ridiculous. At least it end good, but by then I didn't care.

Dirty Harriet
Fans of the original Thomas Ian Griffith action cop thriller maybe a tad disappointed by the lack of his royal ''T.I.G-ness'' in this, a name only sequel which if I'm honest, plays much better than that first picture...Stacie Randall plays Harly Cordell (or 'Dirty Harriet' as she is once referred to), a hard as nails Special Forces agent, who arrives on the scene of an apparent mob hit in order to help the local police. However, little do they know but she's actually hunting down Francis Lydell (Dan Gauthier) her former commanding officer and part-time lover (natch!) in order to get some good old fashioned payback out of the way! Y'see, 'ol Francis wanted Harly to join him in his freelance assassination squad (I guess chocolate and roses weren't on sale at his local garage that day) and when she politely declined, he left her for dead... the villain! Now, she's out for revenge and within no time at all she's busting heads with the likes of genre favourites James Lew, blowing away bad guys left and right, bumping uglies with one lucky fella who must have thought all his Christmases had come early and generally taking down all and sundry like there's no tomorrow.Okay, this one is never gonna win awards or become your next favourite action movie but sheesh, its certainly worth 90 minutes of any jaded action junkie's time (well, me anyway): Randall is a solid female action lead, adept as kicking butt like the best of 'em and its a shame she never continued in the genre - she could have certainly gave many other '90s action stalwarts a run for their money. Director Jonathan Winfrey (who gave Don 'The Dragon' Wilson a workout in 'Bloodfist VII: Manhunt') directs the dross with an assured hand, making sure Mark Sevi's stupid but action heavy screenplay is milked for all its worth. Junk fans may recall Mr Sevi had his sticky screenplay paws on many a '90s direct to video release, wowing everyone with such gems as 'Scanner Cop II', 'Class of 1999 II', 'Relentless II', 'Fast Getaway II' and 'Ghoulies IV'. Man, if this guy wasn't my hero before, he sure is now.Entertainment in Video's UK DVD release sports an okay transfer with punchy audio with no extra features (I know, I know! I too would have loved a 20-minute doc on costume designer Kristin Burke discussing the concept behind Harly's silver spaceman dress). All in all, 'Excessive Force II: Force on Force' is a trashy treat with all the trimmings and more than happy to embarrass myself here by admitting I'm a fan of this baloney. Recommended for jaded action fans whose brain activity is mildly increased by witnessing a pretty lady punch fella's in the family jewels.

"..ANOTHER CHEESY YET FUN 90'S MARTIAL ARTS MOVIE.."
Another miscellaneous 90's action martial arts movie that people probably haven't heard of, there is so many of these types of movies made throughout the 90's, Stacie Randall plays an ass kicking special forces agent tracking down her old team that tried to kill her, in the vein of Rothrock movies Randall uses her martial arts skills to take out the bad guys in plenty of fight scenes and action all on a cheesy low budget as usual but still overall its good fun, yet again you can pick these movies up for pennies these days so worth checking out if you love 90's cheesy martial arts/action movies, Randall is a sexy actress too!!Pretty decent DVD release from Newline, no features though.

Oldies
This movie was entertaining when I seen it last time but that was a few years back on vhs. I enjoyed the first one Excessive force but this one was disapointing but can still be watched. I think it was lacking action or story line punch.
