Love it!
I don't know why, but it's hard to find a good circular impact sprinkler. I love this one! It's great that you can turn it on an off at the sprinkler and adjust how far it sprays (no more monkeying with the spigot to try to get it just right). I also like that it has wheels. On the downside, it's hard to turn the adjustment knob when it's wet. That would be an easy fix for the Gilmour folks, though. I also wonder how long it will last since it's mostly plastic, but so far, so good!

Great overall with minor inconvenience. Still buying more.
GOOD:I'm still early in trials with these and am working with a sub-optimal water pressure, but when up and running, these work fairly well. Love the daisy-chaining built in and the multiple caps to the end-of-the-line device. Everything is plastic, but appears to be a sturdy type that wont wear anytime soon. For the price, I think the quality is very reasonable.LESS-THAN-GOOD:I wont' say there are bad points, but have a few minor issues that could be better.First, 2 of my for came with the connection from the head to the base loose. They didn't function right, so I had to remove the head with pliers [came off easy enough], tighten another part with pliers, then reattach. Super easy to do, but annoying it had to be done on 50% of them. The side screw that blocks part of the stream to break up the pattern moves way too easily. I had one pull back to get the best reach and the screw came out, never to be found again. I'm not heartbroken, but that was on day two. Who's to say that a few years of it being backed out means it won't be lost on it's own. Even with the screw and the top adjustment to vary the pattern shape, the coverage is uneven [caveat below]. Typically, the further range gets water and the up close gets water, but the middle of the spray distance is much less. I don't think it's enough to make me switch or do a return, but worth considering if even coverage is important for you. If so, a higher-end devices would prob be better.CAVEAT:I'm working with lower pressure. My static pressure [no water flowing is reasonable at 55, but my residual pressure with ONE sprinkler on is 24 and two daisy-chained is 16. At <20psi, the sprinkler heads do not function at all [either spin in place or do not rotate at all while pissing water]. The issue above with the poor even coverage 'may' be caused by this, but I can't tell yet. I'm using this as an excuse to get a booster pump for the whole house. I've wanted one for years for better showers, but never had strong enough convictions. Even a small 1/2HP pump should be a massive improvement. [FYI: I'm a firefighter, so I know my hydraulics VERY well]. They're 100-150 bucks and can be self-installed for the handy. Based on what I'm seeing, I'm expecting to have great even coverage and reach even at 50-60psi.Maybe I'll install a UV sterilizer as well since I'll be cutting the main water line anyway. I'm a water snob and want even better/safer water than me softener and carbon filter provide.

These are NOT the high quality items that you hope they will be.
I really wanted to like these. I really did. They sounded great. Heavy duty, large coverage area, on/off switch. I bought 6 of them. But they are not what I expected. The base is lightweight plastic. So lightweight that under the force of it's own spray, the sprinkler flops over, every time. I proved this to my self with the sprinkler sitting in the grass and on the concrete driveway. Made no difference. Had to place a brick on the base, positioned directly across from the hose, to prevent the thing from wobbling its self free and flopping over. They are NOT capable of bi-directional 360 degree operation. The design of the reversing lever is such that about a 15 degree cone of your yard will receive no water from the sprinkler as it moves in both directions. It simply reverses on both sides, leaving that 15 degree slice of your yard completely dry. You can't adjust it away, only make it bigger. Of course, you can run it in only 1 direction, but that kind of defeats the usefulness of the reverse feature of most impulse sprinklers and eliminates your ability to get better water distribution to the closer in parts of the yard. It was too windy today to make an honest assessment of spray distance, though I'm already skeptical. I'll assess during tomorrow morning's watering cycle and if they disappoint, I'm throwing all 6 of them back into the box and returning them as defective for a refund. Don't waste your time with these.

Very handy - just hope it holds up!
I just purchased my second one of these tonight to water my large lawn after aeration/overseeding. I will be using both at the same time with two different hoses to cover a large area. I don’t think I have figured out how to get this to cover 5800 sq ft yet, but I am hopeful that I will soon figure it out so I have to move them less. Being able to shut the sprinkler off without turning the water off at the source seems to be a great feature and is very convenient!I have only had the first sprinkler for a week and got the second today, so I will update this review if any problems arise.

Not made very sturdy
The top blew off on first use and it just didn’t meet my requirements.

Works as promised.
Very good impact sprinkler. Has brass fittings and parts. Lightweight and super easy to set up only complaint is plastic base. But otherwise an excellent sprinkler.

Gilmour sprinkler
Love love love Gilmore sprinklers. This one doesn’t shoot as far as I expected but it covers a good area. Slow moving sprinkler which I like because I move slow

Great sprinkler
This sprinkler has many controls which allows me to cover my front lawn and around the corner to side yard. I have bought a few because it didn’t stand up to being run over in the driveway!

Good, but not like the Gilmour’s from the Old Days.
UPDATE: this sprinkler was purchased in May, 2021. It worked good for 2 years. In the spring — May, 2023 I brought it out of the garage to water the garden, and it would only spray in one spot … it wouldn’t do a circle. I got ahold of Gilmour, because it has lifetime warranty. I sent multiple emails, got multiple promises, and one reply that stated it was out of stock and that a new one was going to be sent out when new stock came in ... but nothing ever came. They wanted a photo of my defective sprinkler and an address to ship it to … but nothing ever showed up. I was getting very frustrated because the terrible customer service was getting utterly ridiculous. So I started following up again in December 2023 … and guess what ?? The new one just arrived today. January 30, 2024 - a full 9 months after we discovered the first one wasn’t working.Original Review: I searched out the Gilmour sprinkler to replace a previous Gilmour that we had for more than 15 years before it finally wore out. We have 3 acres of yard and garden and it did a great job. Shoots water really far, covering a very large area. My only complaint is that our previous one was heavy and made with a good heavy cast aluminum base…This one is plastic. When watering corn we would often set it atop an inverted garbage bin to water above the corn plants. With the hose pressure this one will tip off of the bin, so the base needs to be weighted down with a rock. It’s a good sprinkler, but I can’t see it lasting 15 years like the previous one. Makes me sad that so many previously good things are turning into the cheap quality stuff.

It's features are hard to beat and the shutoff on the unit is a time saver.
I have been using this sprinkler lent to me by my neighbor and that's why I purchased it.

Buyer beware!
This is a very lightweight sprinkler and tips over so easy. I'm not sold on this sprinkler at all. You need to put a rock or brick on it to keep it from tipping over. Although it does work, I am disappointed with this purchase.
