Four Classic Albums Plus (Conway Twitty Sings / Lonely Blue Boy / The Rock And Roll Story / Portrait Of A Fool)

Not what I expect of Conway Twitty. I hear his name, I think country. These are mostly old rock n roll songs, which are great songs in the right hands. If I want to hear stuff like Great Balls of Fire, I hear it from Jerry Lee Lewis. Lots more like that.For some strange reason, Amazon no longer show a track list and you have to go hunting all over the internet to find one.It's Conway though, so great performance but not country.

Disc one is fine . Disc two. Not so good. This second disc is in the period when Conway was trying to make his mind up as to the direction his career was going to go. Not quite country ,not quite rock n roll. Unfortunate he did not quite make it either way on this disc. Love his earlier stuff , and like his later songs when he finally went Country.
