Not the old Craghoppers -- Made in China. I am OK, the material seems the same. The front pants, excuse me, trousers' pockets are shallower than I expected. It does have side zippers that you can use to secure items so they won't fall out when you sit. My biggest disappointment is that the side pocket has a velcro flap. The attaching velcro came un sewn after wearing these pants about four times. I got a good price on these, about $26.00, so I got what I paid for, I guess.

I have had a pair of Craghoppers Classic Kiwi trousers for years and they are fantastic. With early retirement and a dog, I'm now walking much more and decided to buy another pair. The offer on Amazon was fantastic; only £13.60 and free post. I bought 2 pairs and only after the purchase looked at the reviews. I was surprised to see quite a few at only 1-star.Having received the trousers, I can certainly see why previous Kiwi owners were so disappointed; the current version is a shadow of what they originals were. Many 1-star reports talk about front pocket depth; well here's some quantitative evidence. With my hand in the front pocket of the originals, the lower cut is at my wrist bone. For the new pair, it only just reaches above the knuckle of my small finger; that's a significant difference. The zipped pockets are also smaller, although no change to the map pocket for obvious reason. Only time will tell if the material,stitching, zips etc are anywhere close to the originals, which I've had for a number of years.The way you rate Kiwis then depends if you are new to them or are comparing them to the original design. The new cut is certainly not as generous, pockets smaller and only one loop, rather than the original double, at each belt point. They aren't what they used to be, but they are still OK and fit for purpose, although perhaps for a shorter period of time. And for the price I paid, rather than RRP, they are fantastic value.

Worth the 5 stars all day long, I'm a professional gardener and always go for Craghoppers, the extra hip pockets are always needed & two are zip protected so no worries about anything falling out.The quick dry tech is a great feature as anybody who works outdoors can appreciate, ok they're not waterproof But, for those lighter shower days or mowing wet grass the quicker dry is really handy! The lower pockets come in handy as well & one has an elasticated phone pocket inside. I have had no problems with the quality so far & for the price I can't fault them....& they come with a quick release snap clasp belt! I bought two pairs this season at this price it'll be rude not to! I also have a pair or two for walking holidays. Although I've never bought the lined trousers, never felt the need, But, after the winters we've been having I may try them this winter!

The belt and the pockets let this product down badly. They are actually stylish enough to go out in - after all we all go out in jeans - but the main side pockets are hopelessly small and the belt is nothing more than a cheap nuisance. I've replaced mine with a 'normal' belt but can't make the pockets any bigger!

good comy trousers. wamr lined. good pockets etc. quality of stitching has gone down though on Kiwi items, have had 2 pairs now that the right side ocket has come undone at the bottom - a nuisance as that's where I keep keys.
