I normally do not review products but wanted to clear up some mis-information on other reviews and to provide some more info for other buyers since these would be pretty hard to return...Ordered 2 benches on Nov 28 from SMH Corp with expected delivery of Dec 6-9. I received a notification that they shipped, but not a tracking number. Requested a tracking number from SMH and received a reply that due to weather shipping was delayed. A few days later they sent the tracking and FedEx did show a weather delay. The benches arrived 3 days late, which wasn't a big deal. I only mention it because SMH handled the situation correctly and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.Both boxes arrived with some damage, but the benches were ok. Both benches have pretty poor/rough welding on the seat portion and one bench the back has some gaps where it wasn't assembled correctly before welded. That said, once the bench is assembled its not noticeable, and all of the poor welds are underneath or in places where you wouldn't contact see or feel them. The benches have a bit more of the gold/bronze accents then I expected based on the pictures, but my wife and I both like it and it makes it look a bit 'weathered'. If you are expecting a solid dark bronze bench that is not what I received.Assembly was no problem at all on either bench. There are 4 pieces, 2 arm/leg sides and the seat back and seat bottom. The tools and bolts/washers/nuts are in a blister pack - it would be hard for me to see how someone could get the wrong hardware as mentioned on other reviews. The Allen wrench is ok, but the included open end wrench is a bit small. If you have a decent 10mm ratchet or box wrench you'll save some assembly time.There are 8 Allen bolts, 4 long for the back and 4 short for the seat bottom. The arm/leg assemblies are different, make sure that the seat bottom goes into the indented side on each one. If get the sides reversed or you use the bolts in the wrong location you will end up with bolts that are not long enough which is where I suspect some of the reviewers went wrong.Once assembled It is pretty comfortable and sturdy. I wouldn't watch a movie on it but you don't feel the Ivy pattern on your back and the seat is contoured well. This was in a sweatshirt and jeans, once the weather warms up my opinion may change.

a really nice product, very easy to put together 4 screws in all. To my surprise it's also comfortable to sit on. Thought I'd have to buy pads for it but that's not necessary unless you want to. Since I live in FL and leave it out side in mygarden I'm choosing not to pad it. Very sturdy I think it will last for quite a while even baking in the hot Florida sun.The delivery was really fast too.

Comfortable, looks good, excellent price, easy to assemble by myself. It will be outdoors in GA heat and humidity and not moving anywhere from our back yard after my wife constructs a life-sized clay pot "person" AKA Pot Man sitting on one side of it, so I might spray it with a clear coat of lacquer or something first to delay rusting. We couldn't find an old, already-weathered bench in our area so she talked me into getting this new one while the price was low.Update: I sprayed the bench with a clear Rustoleum lacquer and it has held up well in our climate. Since we're using it mostly as a decorative accent in our yard it really doesn't matter if it eventually rusts. My wife finally finished her clay Pot Man (Woman?) so I'm attaching a photo of it sitting on the bench.

after a lot of different stores and reading reviews, i ordered this one, it was put together and looked so nice,well after a few days of rain, it started to rust and stained my patio and outdoor rug. contacted the company(spoke to Kellon) an he suggested i could send it back...i just wanted some idea on what to do to stop the rust. He said they NEVER had this problem...so i guess i got the defective one. plus, i couldn't dismantle it and already threw the box out, so I have a rusted bench (1 mt. old) for pots of flowers. they did take 20.00 off, but i still have a rusted bench and can not use it except for decorations, because of the rusting. lot of money for a flower pot holder,,,,

I bought 6 benches, they all tit fine and no broken parts except the allen head screws, 6 screw poped the heads off before they were tightened . Makes me worry about all the rest of them failing when in use. I would like to purchase all new screws and nuts and be reimbursed for the cost. Each screw is critical for a safe bench. I will spray a sateen clear coat to help stop rust based on other reviews.Overall they are a great bench and comfortable..2019 up date, no longer available for sale in California, I want 4 more,

I bought two of these great benches., I love them on the porch., and in CO winters., no matter, they do just fine., still on the porch.,, good price., good construction., needed to get two screws., headed to Home Depot., that was solved, really quick., would order them again, for sure., might just get two more, when summer hits, they are green., and match everything!! tks, again., paula

This is my second bench. I think it is quite attractive, It was so attractive near my front door that someone decided they had to have it.( It was stolen) I have not put the second one together yet, because of shoulder surgery but, it will be done soon, This one will be fastened down, hopefully making it more difficult to stealIt was fairly easy to put together. It is very sturdy.

I am enjoying this bench!!! My boyfriend was out of town so I had to put it together by myself!!! It wasn't that bad to put together. I didn't tie in any screws until I had it all together. I purchased a bench cushion for it!!!! This bench is good for the price at least for me it was!!!
