Pleasantly surprised
After reading some reviews I wasn’t too sure if it was worth ordering or not. I went ahead anyway and I am glad I did. It’s not wooden. Not sure what it is but the screws went in without any effort. Providing you don’t have anything too heavy on it it seems pretty sturdy. Happy with this purchase. Would even buy another if I needed one at a later date. No instructions so I just looked at a picture of it and did it that way. Easy enough.

Quite sturdy. Looks nicer than most shoe racks. No assembly instructions though.

This product is very cheap and the wood splinters as you force the unit together. I don't thinknit will last long

Doesnt hold any weight
Looks very nice and easy to assemble but as soon as i put anything on the shelves it falls apart, best to get a already build one. It's a shame as it looks lovely

Cheaply made, wouldn't recommend
I don't normally give negative reviews as I read reviews on everything before purchasing to ensure I'm not going to waste my money! This item was the perfect size I required so even though it didn't have any reviews, I took a chance and bought it.As seen in photos, this item is extremely cheaply made and doesn't feel like wood at all, it's bendy and more like glorified polystyrene. When slotting the pieces together (kind of like a jigsaw or those foam mats you can get for children) pieces of the "wood" was shedding over the floor and the whole thing would bend out of shape.This item uses 4 screws which are supposed to secure the whole thing, only it's like tightening a screw into blue tack - useless!I wanted this shelving for my son's bedroom, however it's definitely not fit for purpose, it'll probably withstand the weight of a few rolls of ribbon, so instead it's been banished to the cupboard under the stairs to store lightweight craft items on.
