This kreel is very small in size. It’s not for a real fisher-person. I was hoping for an old style kreel to use while hiking up a wooded stream. It’s not big enough to even hold brook trout. I gave it to my grand daughter to carry her dolls.

This item is what I expected for the price. Decent enough quality, enough room for several 8"-10" trout if you live in a state like mine with very few "lunkers" out there, minimal odor, and all the expected features. Saved me gallon of gas driving to the local Big Box store, which offers models of similar cost/quality.

Looks just like the one I had for 15 years. It is not the same. Bought for my sons for an Easter gift. Opened it to put a small box in it and the plastic closure on the top broke. It is plastic and really cheap. It will still hold fish but i just recommend spending the money and getting a decent one.

Same comments as others. Received the item and went to put my gear in it and the plastic hinges broke. I didn’t read the reviews first, shame on me. What happened to the quality they once had when I was a kid. I’ve used this style for years and this one is garbage, this company should be ashamed of itself.
