QMx Mr. Pointy Plush

Perfect! Amazing! And I want to hug the person who thought of creating a plush Mr. Pointy!I go as Buffy almost every Halloween and have to sneak my wood stake through security because it's considered a "weapon." Which, yeah, it could be if I was ACTUALLY Buffy. But alas. . . I am not.I digress.If you got as far as to read this review, it means you should buy it already. It's perfect. It definitely looks just like Mr. Pointy! I plan to use it for a Nicky Wood cosplay, next month and didn't want to have to worry about security and all of that. I know Nicky didn't have Mr. Pointy, but I really didn't want to have to try to whittle a stick. Great prop!

This is the perfect addition for my Buffy costume. I searched all over Amazon for some sort of stake to use as a prop, but I couldn't find anything that was affordable for a simple Halloween costume. $12 was a little more than I wanted to pay, but it's ok because the plush looks real, feels soft, and it's a much safer option. The only thing that annoyed me was that I got 4 emails from the company asking for reviews. They emailed me when it shipped, twice when I got it and they wanted packaging feedback, and again asking for an official review. Just keep it all to one email, guys. It was really annoying. Sorry my pic is so crappy, I zoomed in on it. But hopefully it'll give you an idea of the size and color.

I used this as a prop for my Buffy costume last Halloween, and every single person I encountered asked me why I was carrying a parsnip, or ginger root.*sigh*Millennials.

Very cool replica of "Mr. Pointy"! The wood print/dye looks realistic, and from not to far of a distance it looks like real wood. I bought it for display purposes, but I'm sure it would complement any costume from Helsing to Buffy.

My nephew loves it. I got it for him for his birthday but I secretly wanted it for myself. We both win. Now I'm just waiting for them to come out with a Quantum Mechanix Slayer Scythe so I can buy 10.

Lovely, a little smaller than I thought it would be, but other than that, it's a beautiful replica prop and was great for completing my Hallowe'en costume!

The Mr pointy plushie stake is very soft and light to handle. Easily weighs under 250g. It is quite squishy so you can't stake anything with it. However if you're buying it as a gift for the kind of person who dreamed of being a potential slayer, and would bounce around the room 'staking' her 'vampire' soft toys, it is marvellous for that kind of person or those who like cosplay as this item would not break the no weapons rule at any convention world wide. No soft toys were harmed in the making of this review. Look for #buffy #stake on instagram to see Mr Pointy in action.
