Ok conditioner, but not perfect.
Update 7/27/2020: I’m updating my review from 3 to 4 stars. I stopped using this for a while, but came back to it because I was running out of the Honest conditioner. I’m really appreciating the lack of “slip” compared to other heavier conditioners as my daughter is getting older and is way more active during bath time. It doesn’t make her hair heavy and causes less slips and falls in the tub because it doesn’t leave a residue that I have to scrub out after every bath. I do still have to keep it on her hair for a few minutes for it to make her hair soft, but it rinses away easier AND because it can work as a leave-in conditioner, I don’t have to work so hard to make sure every bit of it is completely rinsed out. I appreciate the simple ingredients more now as well. The longer I look for a kid’s conditioner with clean ingredients, the more I appreciate Little Twigs because it’s hard finding a clean ingredient conditioner. I will keep searching because this one isn’t perfect for my daughter’s hair type, but I will repurchase as a backup.Old review:My toddler has very long and thin hair, but a LOT of it. I need to use at least 2-3 elastics to hold just half of her hair up. I had been using Honest conditioner on her for over a year. But it was very difficult to work with as it felt really heavy on her hair and took forever to rinse out. As a busy mom, I wanted to reduce the time I spent on conditioning and rinsing my kid’s hair at bath time. So I decided to try Little Twig when we ran out of the Honest brand. Right off the bat, I noticed that the rosemary oil scent overpowers everything else. So unfortunately, I don’t smell any tangerine at all. It also has much less “slip” than the Honest conditioner, so I feel like I have to use a lot more of the Little Twig product to detangle my daughter’s hair. With Honest, I needed one pump. With Little Twig, I have to use three full pumps. However, I found that if I apply the Little Twig conditioner and let it sit for a few minutes, it penetrates her hair and I can detangle much easier. So I’m not saving any time as I had originally hoped, but at least I’m not wasting water trying to rinse out the Honest conditioner for 3 minutes. It does leave my daughter’s hair soft, but not as soft as Honest. I think this conditioner may work better for kids with thicker hair, that doesn’t get tangled/matted so easily. I will continue my search for the perfect conditioner for my little one.

Need to rinse completely
My 20-month-old daughter has fine, curly hair. We struggled to find a baby-friendly detangler that works and doesn't weigh her hair down completely. This isn't it, unfortunately. I'm rating this 4 stars still, though, because it does a great job of detangling and smells amazing. The biggest problem is that we have to rinse forever in order to get it all out. Otherwise, her hair is kind of greasy and lacks the softness that baby hair should have. She doesn't love getting her hair washed, so this task is not so fun. Maybe when she is a little older and her hair has thickened up a bit more...

Worked when my babies were little
I have used this product for a few years for my two daughters who have thick, curly, biracial hair. This product did well when my babies were younger and their hair was a little finer. As their hair grew thicker, this product no longer worked for detangling their hair. Still provides decent moisture, but we have had to move to different products to help with detangling.

Parent: 1, Screaming through tangles: 0
I was skeptical about the product, and not thrilled about the price, I won't lie. It's pricey when you compare it with regular store shampoo, but now I know why. Not only do I have peace of mind about the ingredients, this stuff is amazeballs. My daughter still has the fine, instantly tangled baby hair, and those adorable curls are a nightmare to get a brush through. After using this product for 2 weeks now, I can definitely say brushing is easier. The brush goes through her hair like a knife through butter when it's wet, and when it's dry if I dampen her hair and use even a tiny bit of this product just on the ends, it instantly de-tangles. It also does not leave a residue even when applied to dry hair. I'm ok with closing my eyes at the price and just clicking "buy"; some things are worth it!

Game Changer! Tangles no more!
I rarely post reviews, but this conditioner is a GAME CHANGER after just the first use! My kiddos hair is super long and every time I try to brush her hair, she's in tears over the tangles. Today was different. Total miracle, even I was shocked. Don't hesitate. Buy. It's worth the money. I'll only use this going forward.

Love it and it works!
Bought it for my 2.5 year olds nappy fine hair, that tangles so easy! Even after naps! This stuff has such a light scent that I like and know that it is safe. it really does work too. I use it as a detangler and dont rinse it out. HOWEVER, that being said, only use a SMALL (and I mean, TINY) amount if not rinsing out, it will look greasy if you use too much! So far it is lasting us forever, going on month 3 and only about halfway, and I use it for my 5 yr old too (she has shoulder length hair).

Not for us!
This stuff seemed awesome at first. The first time I used it, my hair looked beautiful when I took it out of my waves. I am Latin & have hip length black hair that is half straight, half slight waves (I blame motherhood). I tend towards dryness, though I have found that most natural products end up leaving my hair almost damp feeling - they condition, but perhaps are too hydrophilic? Anyway, this product seemed just right, until the second or third time I used it. My hair almost feels dried out, and I have to use more and more of this each time. My son, who is multiracial & has tight curls in the front, magic marker sized curls in the back, said he would have to use the entire bottle for his medium length afro - he does have really thick hair, but the Organic Excellence conditioner worked great with about 1/4 cup. This stuff didn't, and his hair felt dry and frizzy instead of soft, lovely curls like it should with a good conditioner. I think this product would work well for more European hair and/or young babies. The smell is nice, and it is all natural. I don't think it should really be advertised for all hair types.

Good Conditioner but Really Overpriced
This is a decent conditioner, it's good for the baby ingredient-wise, smells nice, ingredients are a check...but seriously, if you think about a can of COKE being 355ml, this is basically251ml, it's tiny! Smallest bottle of conditioner I've ever seen. The price is absolutely jacking customers because it's just known we will pay for this type of thing. Is it worth it? You decide...

Miracle worker!!
Let me start by saying that I bought this for myself, a 24 years old baby with LOTS of hair and curly ones at that. I use to spend at least 30 minutes with my hair lathered in conditioner in the shower to be able to detangle the mess that was on my head and it had to be done daily because the more I waited, the more I suffered when it came to get to it. My scalp was constantly in pain from me pulling like crazy to be able to get the knots out. I read in an article that using baby detangler could help so I thought why not. Well, let me tell you that this product has saved me! It takes me about five minutes to detangle something that even my mother was never able to do before (her motto was you have to suffer to be beautiful). My scalp is pain free and my hair is shiny and absolutely happy and no longer trying to ruin my life. I don't know about for kids, but ladies, put some in your hair and you'll do like me and thank this company!!

Best conditioner for my daughter's curly hair
This conditioner smells wonderful and works perfectly for my daughter's hair. It detangles but it also keeps her hair soft and manageable for days after. Highly recommend

Really works to detangle!
Really works to leave hair soft and tangle free. We love the trusted safe ingredients and light scent. We run it through hair while wet and use as a leave in treatment but it can also be washed out as a conditioner.

The only thing that has worked so far…
This is the only thing that has worked for my baby’s hair. It helps detangle to comb easily (she does not like her hair being touched). It also leaves the hair looking nice and soft days after.
