Anne's House of Dreams (Official Anne of Green Gables Book 5)

I almost gave up on the series after a bad book #4 (Windy Poplars), this book gets back to Anne, Gilbert, their marriage and their honeymoon phase. This book is Anne styled, good scenery description and enters our buddy Ms. Cornelia (Just like a man!). There is a major twist in this book that shocked me, and I will not ruin it. Captain Jim seems creepy for Anne at first, but then he's a good hearted character who loves teasing Ms. Cornelia (Just like a man!). This book is so beautiful, so good, man, . . . if you've been married to your spouse a long while, give this book a read, it will remind you of the joy of the early years of marriage.

“the race of joseph always remembers one another.”unfortunately it seems as though anne’s house of dreams will not savor as well as the first four did, but providence in all its ethereal, dreamlike beauty remains special. the story was slow moving, and very conservative in its writing (a stark contrast from the first four books , especially in the depiction of anne as the protagonist), but at its core, it was still a book in the anne of green gables series so, how bad could it really have been? lucy maud you never fail.also one book closer to finally allowing myself to finish the annE netflix original <33

I do love the Anne books, despite my age and alleged education. I don't own this one, but was glad to re- read it on Kindle.

Beautiful, clean entertaining book to read and enjoy Ann and her friends.

What can I say, I love everything Green Gables so I loved this book! I love all of the books in the Anne series and this one was just as special. If you are a fan of Lucy Maud Montgomery then you are sure to like this book too!

I really love this book , particularly the part with Leslie Moore's story. It is very interesting and hard to put down once started

Whenever I need a lift one of the Anne Shirley books can do the job. I'm 92 and still enjoying.
