My kids found an old camcorder but it had no power cord. This worked perfectly.

After my preschooler took a pair of scissors to my camcorder charging cable, I needed a replacement fast. I was a little hesitant to purchase a replacement that wasn't a genuine JVC part, but after carefully reviewing the pictures to make sure the connection looked like the correct shape I took the plunge. The adapter fits perfectly, and the only disadvantage is that it's a little clunkier than the original so I have to separate the cord into its two components and store it in two different compartments in my camera bag. That's a small inconvenience considering the price is significantly less than the name-brand part from JVC's website. I recommend this product if you're not wanting to spend the extra money on a genuine adapter.

After throughly checking its compatibility before purchase, there was no doubt that it was going to be a perfect match and for a reasonable price. Delivery was satisfactory with no visible defects. Immediately after plugging, life was once again restored to our camcorder. Now I can record past and present memories with peace of mind.

I ordered a JVC camcorder AC adapter charger, number AP-V14U. I was sent number AP-V14. The charger does not fit. Now its really going to be a hassle to get my money back,and then get the right item!!

So far so good, its working great.. Hopefully it will work for a long time.
