Computing in the Retirement Home!
Everything is working perfectly, though I have needed help from my kids to get things back to the configurations I'm used to. At first I thought you had not sent me the actual computer because it was so small! I am in my mid- 80's so I do need extra help to keep up with the digital age.

Not perfect but works!
It works! connecting an acer G236HL to my asus 7970 3gb. Unfortunately I have to replug it in whenever the computer starts up. Not a deal breaker for me, but certainly inconvenient. Wakes up fine from sleep but wont come on when I first turn on the computer. I haven't found a reason yet but when I do I will post it here - and yes, I've checked and troubleshot all the drivers :)

Used to Connect VA1912 Series View Sonic LED Monitor (VGA) To Asus Chrome Box
My husband first bought what is called a "passive" adaptor HP Displayport To VGA Adapter (AS615AA) to connect my new ChromeBox to my 18 month old "old" View Sonic VGA monitor, we waited for it to arrive, and it didn't work.He read up on the reviews that, evidently, with a ChromeBox, you need an "active", not a "passive" adaptor, and he ordered this adaptor. Again, we waited for this one to arrive, and, when it did, voila!! Suddenly it worked.I'm going to go review the HP adaptor and try to alert people that if they're using a ChromeBox, they need an "active" adaptor, and hopefully save somebody the trouble of ordering the wrong one.BTW, the ChromeBox I bought in May of 2013 lasted me about 18 months before it died suddenly. It wasn't on warranty (I bought a 3 yr warranty for my new one) so I had to buy a new one. I guess that's about the lifespan of these little guys, but for the price, that's fair. Sorry, I realize this review is for the adaptor and not the ChromeBox.

Works Great..! With the ASUS CHROMEBOX
Bought this for my (ASUS CHROMEBOX) to work with my Dell VGA monitor.Works just perfect. Now I can run 2-dual monitors on my Chromebox.I'll have to say this is the future NOW..!, Purely a lag free dual monitor experience with this Chromebox... it's truly awesome! all categories earn five stars. I can do everything I need on this simple, small, and inexpensive box.I mounted the Chromebox on the back of my monitor, connected cables and fired it up, the box boots in seconds. Streaming video or audio is smooth as butter. It's a truly wonderful experience. I did upgrade the memory with another 2gb but seems to run just as fast. Really fun to use.I own a Mint kubuntu 16 laptop and Android phone, owning this Chrombox is causing me to buy another. It's perfect for people like me who loves security and new tech.,Word, email, and streamingg audio and movies are no problem while i do my work on the other monitor at the same time.Buy two ASUS Chromeboxes, if you can find them before they sell-out. Seriously.

Awesome product but it wouldn't come out!
The product worked great and then one day I had to disconnect and it wouldn't come out. I have a radeon 7700 graphics card. I had to use a pair of pliers to pull it, breaking male-end in the process. Lucky it came out clean and my graphics card is ok. Not sure what caused this but it kind of makes me hesitant to order a new one.

Exactly what the doctor ordered!
On occasion I feel like being cheap - this was one of those occasions. The HDMI or DVI version of the active display port cables were $10 more - being that I'm driving a 1080p display that has a DSUB (VGA) connection, I saw no point in spending the extra money. Extremely pleased with this. Connected to my Dell Precision M4700 with ATI FirePro M4000 graphics card, I'm now able to use two external monitors AND the laptop display when plugged into the docking station. Beforehand, when connecting the monitors with passive display port to DVI, I could get my two external monitors to work, but the display on the laptop would not. Now all three are running perfectly and the monitor even sleeps properly when the laptop goes into sleep mode. Highly recommended for those with a 1080 display that has a DSUB connector and need an active display port cable.

Cirago DisplayPort to VGA Active Adapter (DPA1011) Perfect Fix
I was having difficulty setting up Dual VGA Flat Panel Monitors with my Dell OptiPlex 9020 Desktop computer that included an AMD Radeon HD 8570 graphic card with 1x DVI-I and 1x DisplayPort output.I used a passive DVI-I to VGA adapter on one side of the video card’s connection and that worked fine because DVI-I carries an analog VGA signal on the four pins surrounding the flat pin connector of the DVI-I interface. But, I got stuck making the connection between my VGA monitor and the display port output on the graphics card. The Cirago DisplayPort to VGA Active Adapter (DPA1011) promptly resolved the issue by converting the display port’s digital output into an analog signal compatible with my VGA Flat Panel Monitor and I was up and running as soon as the active adapter was plugged in.

Works with Eyefinity!!
Works as advertised. I've been running it for a couple weeks, and have had a couple times where I resumed from sleep mode and the monitor did not come on(reason for 4 stars), but setting the computer back to sleep mode and waking it back up always brought the monitor back. I would definately buy again, since it's the cheapest I found for an active displayport adpater.
