I've been using laco for 50 years of my life in the plumbing and gas fitting trade. High end restaurants,it seals the threads and has lubricant abilities which allows the fitting to tighten even better. Best part is years later when undoing fittings they come right apart. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Retired 4 years ago and yep got a bottle in my tool bag. Very easy to use and any excess wipes right off...

Very Good Quality

Works better than any other dope I have tried. Never had a leaker with this. I am an industrial mechanic and use this on high pressure steam lines as well as more mundane water and compressed air lines.

I have a pool pump, with a hard plastic housing. I accidentally screwed the male part too far down into the female hole and the fittings leaked. My bad. So I was looking for something to really seal the parts once I refitted them. Unfortunately, after I gooped up the parts with this thread sealant, let it sit a few hours I went back and it still leaked a little bit. I ended up having to purchase another brand that sealed it up. I suspect had I never screwed the male fitting down too tight this sealant may have worked (I want to be fair). But in my case, I needed to have a sealant that made up for my mistake.

I have used this product in the past and used it again recently. It does not disappoint provides a leakproof threaded connection .

This is a great product. However the bottle I received came up a quarter light. Maybe because the lid does not close. Maybe for other reasons we do not mention here.
