Super Mario 6-Inch Metroid Action Figure, Packaging May Vary

First thing you should know: I spent nearly 3x the retail price for this guy. The large World of Nintendo figures are really difficult to find, for some reason. I was lucky enough to get a Bowser from Wave 1, but I found NONE of wave two. Not even Ganondorf, and I was really expecting to since . They didn't do a Wind Waker Link to accompany him for some weird reason.As far as I know, there isn't a toy of the metroid, short of some high end statuary, and I'm not positive that even exists. So this is your one shot at getting one for a relatively sane amount of money.If you're a Metroid fan, then you are definitely going to love this. Especially if you manage to find the magical f#:-)@ing unicorn that is this at retail. I don't regret buying this for a higher price one bit.The poseability is fine, considering all these creatures really move is their little fang/arm things. If there was something I feel was a misstep, I think it was the lack of a flight stand. That would have been fantastic.I have the WoN Samus Aran also, and this guy looks fantastic next to her. It's absolutely massive, so it's good and imposing. I'm looking forward to getting the more upscale Figma version of our favorite lady bounty hunter, as I'm sure this will hold up just as well next to her.A wonderful toy from a game series that I adore, and think is absolutely deserving of its own toy line. I sincerely hope we see more support for the Metroid universe as the line continues to grow. Maybe a ship for Samus?

Long story short, this thing knocked it out of the park, and ended up being way better than I could have expected. It feels downright hefty, and the quality is leagues above what I've experienced with Jakks before. The joints feel solid, and you can get a lot of poses out of it for something with only four fangs. The paint is great too. There's some excellent black shading in addition to the different shades of red on the bottom, and yellow highlights on the little nodes inside the dome. There's also no bleed through on the bone white they used for the fangs. The dome itself is a clear green plastic, which while rubbery, still holds it's shape. It works out well, but if I had to point out one flaw, it's that the dome feels slightly gritty and picks up dust extremely easily.I know it's going for crazy prices from third party sellers, but don't pass it up if you see one for anything close to the retail price of 14.99. There aren't really any other good options if you want a Metroid, but this guy's worth it.

This thing is huge and looks great, but I think it smells like a real Metroid.

This is a great collectible to have. I got two. Both were in mostly good condition, though one of the mandibles on one of mine was a bit looser than others. Excellent to have in your Nintendo collectables. Be sure not to expose it to beta radiation.

It is very very cool that this exists. My only gripes are that where the clear plastic bubble meets the rest of the piece is a bit poorly crafted. You can see the joints and it doesn't fit tightly like a higher quality sculpture would. Also, you can make it stand on its own, but not very well. I wish a bit more thought of how this would be displayed were put into its design. However, this is not an expensive sculpture by any means. Overall, for the price point, I think this is entirely deserving of 5 stars.

Probably one of the coolest figures I’ve gotten in a while. It came with no issues and sealed in the box. Very well made figure nice attention to detail. Worth the buy.

It's pretty big and scales well with the figma Samus. Has surprisingly good articulation with it's claws. And the clear plastic is pretty neat. Only issue is that it's tacky and loves to collect dirt and fingerprints and if you are unlucky the box it comes in might depress the plastic. Mine has a permanent recession into it which was not intentional but I think it makes it look neat, but I can see it turning out badly.But for the value and size it's pretty cool.

Llegó bien empacado, aunque la caja del producto un poquito dañada de las esquinas pero eso no me es relevante mientras el producto esté bien, lo cuál fue el caso. Lo único que no entiendo es que ya tenía polvo el producto aún dentro de la caja, polvo residual de la misma caja probablemente.El plástico se siente de buena calidad, es algo “squishy” y las garras se pueden mover para acomodarlo. Tamaño perfecto para “the baby”. Un MUST para cualquier fan de Metroid !

First the bad then the good.Bad the metroid box came severely damaged very little to no protection from Amazon and how they packaged it.Also looks like the item was used and I'm still assuming it was even tho it was sold as NEW! The metroid itself was sticky and had finger prints on it.But that was a easy fix just a damp cloth with warm water rung out.Now the good the metroid itself looks amazing and for 20$ is a steal it's a great figure and the size is pretty big as wellGreat for anyone looking for gaming decor or just something to add to there gaming setup especially good for a metroid fan.

Pretty nice, except the rubbery blob part is actually alot cloudier and dirtier than expected.
