Jamo C-109-HG-BLK Floorstanding Speaker - High Gloss Black

Just received these speakers. There was issues with shipping so they took a week vs 2 days. Once received the speakers could have been packaged better, The boxes were pretty beat up. I would suggest they double box the speakers like they do the center channel. The speakers are big, which is what I was looking for and the finish is outstanding. The everything but the fronts are piano black. The face is flat black which I like. as it eliminates glare. First impressions were good. These speakers require a lot of power but overall they are well balanced and neutral sounding. The highs a great but not bright. The mids and lows let you know they are there without becoming muddy. For the price, I am not sure you can do much better. I am looking forward to more critical listening once broken in.

These arrived well packed and in good shape. The fit and finish are good. The soundstage is good and imaging is excellent. The top-end and mid-range of these speakers is detailed, but slightly warm. Bass response is present, but not overpowering. I'd suggest using a subwoofer to bolster the low end with these. These are 89db efficient, so you'll need an amp with decent power if you want these to keep up in a larger room. These are a great value, and versatile for music and home theater. These are about 4 feet tall and weigh 80 pounds, so you may need a buddy to move the boxes.The picture shows these next to Klipsch RF7-ii's as a point of reference.
