Works well. I shoot much more accurate groups with loose powder. I use pyrodex select and I’ve got a 2” group at 175 yards

I read reviews about problems with the installation. Soak it in bore cleaner for awhile and clean it. Insure your rifle and breach threads are totally clean. Use the recommended breach plug lubricate too. Lubricants are rated for metal type and chemistry. Using the wrong lube could cause more problems. This product allows you to use Blackhorn 209 in your Nitride Accura v2 (LR, MR, etc)Please note: You must tighten this breech plug very tight for the first few times using a tool. Otherwise the gun may not close properly.Great product and high quality.

I did not try installing. I am returning. The package was open and the threads had minor damage. It looked like I was shipped one that someone else had returned. These plugs for Blackhorn 209 are great. I own two already and have reordered a replacement. I look forward to receiving the new unopened replacement in time to use on opening day.

These new CVA Accura's with 209 powder are as accurate at 100 yrds as a lot of bolt action rifles.

Had a flattened or bent place at end of threads. Would not allow action to lock on my cva accura.
