This is a bias review, but bias on principle
To put full disclosure I am a Christian and a deeply religious man and I have no problem wuth people co-opting my faith into storylines whether it be Assassin's Creed and their usage of Adam and Eve in one of their early games or Hellsing Ultimate in the usage of Father Anderson and Alucard it doesn't bother me so much when somebody talks about religion whether it be positive or negative I've heard it all before. What irritates me about this is when someone uses a thin almost veneer deep understanding what the Abrahamic faiths see as God and uses that as some form of justification for their characters feelings, not to mention the whole concept that the main character cannot even fight off the majority of the Warriors in this book but could somehow repel the smiting power of the almighty God, it seems to me that the way it was done smacks of ignorance of the subject. Its opinion seems quite bipolar as well one-minute praising the faith, it saying no one knows if someone can find salvation and then the next calling God petty and challenging him to a fight and supposedly winning. I will not wax on about blasphemy I've come to expect it from most people nowadays but if you're going to take on a deep subject especially one so contentious as salvation of the spirit you should have a better understanding of it and not use it as a basis for a power measuring contest from a character who is literally two years old! It's stupid.

Magical Shenanigans and Adventures Continue!
An interesting and entertaining series focusing on an alternate continuation to the "Mahou Sensei Negima!" manga by Ken Akamatsu. Awesome art, engaging story, interesting characters and epic fight scenes, this is a manga I highly recommend.I'd even argue that one could enjoy "UQ Holder" even if you haven't read "Negima!" as it's set in an alternate setting from its predecessor. You could read the original story at a later point to get a deeper appreciation for UQ's history. Of course, seeing as "Negima!" is a completed series already, I see no reason NOT to pick it up first.

This series still rocks
If you've made it this far, you're probably a dedicated fan. But I'm leaving this review to share my love for this series; each time a new volume comes out it makes my day.
