Samsonite Spin Trunk Spinner 29, Charcoal, One Size

I bought this for a move across the pacific ocean and it worked great!! It's very sturdy and looks great but more importantly the weight is very light compared to older suitcase models. I expect to use it for many years (considering I travel and move a lot...) and would highly recommend it!

Basic suitcase as advertised. Interior is 29 inches, which is great. Packs well, and handles well. After one trip the surface has not been scratched much, but I can see it will get scratched a lot over the lifetime of the suitcase. No issues yet with the wheels as others reported. Would recommend, and I particularly like the 80/20 weight/capacity distribution design. It makes sense.

This luggage model has been designed to hold up extremely well! I have the smaller version and it has held up but I have not had a chance to use this size yet and will update when I do. Being a shiny surface I know there well be scratches but I doubt there will be any structural damage and it will be useful for years.

I had a very bad experience with Samasonit and Amazon as well. I sent a claim days ago via your web without any answer up to now.The Spin trunk suitcase that I received had a problem with the lock. It was placed in 000 and once it was closed by moving the wheels, then key could not be opened never more when back to 000. I had to ask for help (to last minute, to leave for the airport) to unlock (just a simple scewdriver !!!!!!). Besides this the suitcase had very small scratches that gave the feeling that was not completely new. By which I think that the lock already came with problemsI had to buy a padlock to lock the trunk, and the original lock is unusable now.Unfortunately I left NY and I live in Argentina and I had no chance to return the suitcase to Amazon.I will return to America (Ornado area) near Christmas.If you can arbitrate the way to replace the suitcase I will rely on Amazon and Sansonite as I think they are excellent companiesI hope your commentsBest [email protected]+54 9 11 3196 2767

Logo ripped off after one flight, color not as shown, darker in person.

It looks nice, it's lightweight, it's capacious. But robust it is not. On its maiden voyage, one of the wheels got pushed in and it doesn't stand or spin any longer. The return window has closed for Amazon, hopefully we can get warranty service from Samsonite, but I certainly don't want a replacement, as the defect is a design-driven problem, not one with manufacturing.

Just took my first trip using my Samsonite Spin Trunk and I was amazed at how well my clothes and personal items were secured. There was plenty of room for everything, and then some. Not too mention how lite it is even with everything I carried and brought back from my trip.

Great suitcase - light and easy to roll. Has been used many times and holding up great!
