As described by other reviewers and as is obvious from description it is not made for the new M1 MacBook Air but still fits pretty good. Glad I tried - for the price (under $25) 5 stars - beautiful case.

This case is so beautiful. It looks so modern and sleek. I absolutely love the feel of it. It made my MacBook look even more expensive than it already is. The only downside is that a couple tabs to keep it on don’t fit right but the case stays on anyway. Highly recommended this case to everyone!

As other reviewers have noted, this aaaaalmost fits the M1 model. I would say it might be for a previous model, except that it does not have air vents in the bottom, so I assume it is for the current M1 model - perhaps they are selling the seconds on Amazon... That said, it fits well enough - does not move around or fall off - and considering the price, it is acceptable. I would call the defect cosmetic. Incase website lists this case for the M1 at $70 - waaaaaay too much unless you have $$ to burn. Nice grip, nice look, good protection for your costly MacBook, particularly if you might want to trade it in or sell it at some point and need to keep it looking nice. If you travel in parts of the world where that Apple on the top of the computer marks you as a wealthy target, it just might help you slip through.

I used this on a child’s school computer. It looks way nicer than many of the previous plastic covers we have used. It has been several months and there are no chips or corner cracks like we usually see with plain plastic covers. This one is already lasting longer than other brands we have tried. It is a little tough to click the cover all the way on and there is one tab we never got all the way in, but the cover is still solid, and doesn’t wiggle. I am not confident how it would hold up if it was dropped from any height onto a hard surface, but it is great and keeping the daily dings and scrapes at bay.

Bought this because they haven't released a textured cover for the M1. Like the other reviews stated, the top cover is perfect. The bottom cover almost works. The clips are fine along the bottom edge, but the clips along the street top sides are just a sliver too short. So the case fits with the clips wedged in. It holds in place, so I'm keeping them on.

I must remember to read reviews more closely. My husband bought one of these for his M1 MB Pro and it fit perfectly--but was more expensive. I thought I'd find a bargain for my new MB Air M1, but the bottom doesn't not completely fit. The tab on the right side comes up above the side to secure it. The left side cannot do the same. It makes me think these were made prior to receiving the final versions and it is slightly shallow. If the MB didn't come with rubber feet it would fit, but those few mm's of depth are enough to prevent both bottom tabs from reaching around and snapping on to the top.I don't know if this model was cheaper because they knew there was a problem. You can still use if, but it's not perfect, so I'll return it and go back to my plastic case while I do some more research to find case that everyone agrees fits the newest version.

I have only had it on my Mac for a few months but the fabric is starting to frey along the edges
