Makes my dog fat don't feed the same quantity as other dog food

We have two cockapoos that are particularly particular about what they like in the way of dog food. I've had them on what I consider the best of the best brands. Finding that they were leaving too much in their bowls, I went on a hunt for something they would really like as well as something that was grain free and high quality. There is a place on the web called dog food advisor that researches and tests dog foods and rates them. That's where I found Acana. Every month I switch up the flavors and our dogs eat every morsel. No more putting food back in the bag that they did not eat. A couple times a week we add a little sweet potato, and twice a week they split a can of Sardines mixed in with less kibble. They especially love the Pacifica fish, which stinks to high heaven but non-the-less they gobble it up.Our dogs are 10 and 8 1/2 years and doing well so far. I feel confident that they are getting the nutrition that they need, and that Acana dog food is some of the best we can possibly buy for our precious companions!I did find this brand in town at a specialty pet store, but I usually order from Amazon.

I bought this product because I read that the ingredients are the highest quality that money can buy. And that may be true, but my dog has gotten terrible gas and frequent anal leakage since I started feeding his this. Very disappointed especially considering the price and now I have to throw out most of the product.

Purchased this food for a little dude with bloody stools. Found out it was from the cheap quality grocery store pet foods. Even though they have big brand names-they are still low quality foods with tons of grain and fillers. They were chewing-up this little guys insides. We saw immediate results when switching to this Acana Wild Prairie food. He loves it and has more energy and beautiful personality since switching to this food. Plus NO more blood!. It is true-you are what you eat. You are eating the best quality with this food.

This is the best dog food available. The price is great and delivery was fast and the product is fresh. Our dogs eat such a small amount that is is less expensive in the end compared to cheap foods.

Acana is an amazing product. Our dogs love it and so do we. We are very selective about the diets of our Sarplaninacs. Plus my husband who does clean up patrol in the yard is very complimentary of how easy it is to pick up the waste. The company who makes this has very high standards as do we. If you are trying to decide if it is worth the money - as it is more expensive - ponder no longer. This food is excellent!

Dogs love it I feed my 3 year old terrier he is a fussy little monkey use to feed Royal Canin, I changed as I heard this product provide more protein and better nutrients.I also started to feed my 7 month Cocker spaniel as this food provide nutrients to all life stage I have been mixing in slowly with Acana puppy.
