Work great for soft crates
Quick and easy to install in a soft crate. Great for travel. Easy to get off to clean or fill. They last forever too.

Great for airline travel!
Bought these to attach to our dogs crate for an overseas move. They held up great! They were put in storage for 4 years and used again recently for the move back. They still worked so well.

Almost perfect, but wobbles in the holder even after clicking into place
The media could not be loaded. Update 9/38/22: For years, I always had tons of my parrot's (African Gray Parrot) food landing in the bottom of the cage or even outside of it, wasting tons of money. I noticed that he loved to pick up his food to eat it out of his foot, and chew it, and of course with no lips, much of it just went flying off to the side, whether he was standing on his perch or the food bowl. So I tried one of these 40oz bowls, and moved his perch just another inch away, so he had to stand on the bowl while eating. BINGO! Most of the food not going down his mouth, wound up falling back into this big bowl. The amount of wasted food plummeted. I replaced all his food bowls with these 40oz bowls, which were also easier to remove to clean regularly than the ones that bolted to the side of his cage.WARNING: The stainless steel and granite color 40oz bowls don't click into place completely, they remain pretty loose and wobble, so he didn't like standing on them. So get the pink plastic bowls until the manufacturer fixes this problem.Edit: after some time of keeping the 'looser' bowls on the outside of his cage, just like branches which sway in the wind, he got used to them and will now stand on them contentedly. So I guess other birds may behave the same way. The manufacturer doesn't recommend the large 40 ounce bowls, because they say they had complaints about macaws biting and breaking the large plastic bowls, but my African gray (545gms big) hasn't done that with any of them. So probably good for parrots of similar size.FIX: I fixed the loose connection, by cutting a very flat skinny plastic washer in half, and using super glue to attach it to the mounting area at the bottom of the bowl; this makes the bowl mount fit snug when clicking it into place to the mount. Attached is a pic of my parrot standing on his perch and the bowl, eating.

Good product but....
Everything about the product met expectations but clamps broke. They are plastic but if you screw them too tight it will break. They will not hold glue. I order a different product.

These are better then other Products
They do get Rachel overtime if exposed to heat or sun. But overall they will last a long time if not dropped or Chew down by Parrots. The bowl is Pretty resistant, but it is the stem that holds the bile that thy can rip up fast. So keep the bowl on even when empty. And can use Duck Tape to keep it from unlocking from the base stem.

If your dog isn't destructive and remarkably clever this bowl might last you a long time.
I was pretty excited about this bowl at first. Several foster dogs have come and gone through our house and used this water crock with good success. It twists off easily from the base, the bowl stays put so the dogs aren't laying about in their water. I liked that it was the iron rings that water bowls fit into, I have heard that some dogs have gotten stuck in those bowls and have hurt themselves. So why three stars? We kennels our 8 pound dog one day. She hadn't been behaving very well with the other dogs and we decided that she needed a space of her own for a day. We put our teeny tiny dog into the kennel, we secured her water, we were gone for two hours, when we came home the base of the crock was in little tiny pieces. I have no idea how she did it, but the crock was in one piece, the base was destroyed. I can not for the life of me figure this out. If you have a clever or destructive dog, this might not be the carrier water bowl for you. For most of our dogs this crock worked well, and even after little bit broke this water bowl, we bought another one. But the next time she needs quarantine we will have to use an industrial strength water bowl.

Most them broke
Most the ones I had broke. The puppies would chew at them and break it off the cage. I would definitely recommend a metal one if you have a younger dog. Would work if you sure your dog won’t mess with it.

Exactly as pictured and DURABLE!
I have tried one other brand of kennel bowls for my dog and he tore those bowls off and had them chewed up within a day. THIS brand is a very sturdy and hard plastic that it easy to clean and my dog hasn't been able to chew them or rip them off of the cage. I would definitely recommend these bowls.

Mine came missing parts
Looks like it would definitely work if it comes fully intact to begin with. The return is hard as you have to print your own lables and cant do it in the shop.

Quiet good product
Very good but would be better if stronger support bracket, it breaks to easily. The picture makes it look like you can set it at an angle but I've not managed to do that, I have bought several in differant sizes for use with puppies. Unfortunately, they break the bracket rendering the bowel useless

my parrot loves it
my parrot loves it and so do i super tuff bowl , but my guy loves to chew the base when i am changing his foodor washing it out , so let see it is made very strong but lets face it when you have a beak with 1800 lbs of pressureyou can pretty much destroy anything !!!!!thanks Garth

Okay but ...
They are good quality & would work well for most animals. BUT our scarlet macaw can bite through the crock easily & does it whenever she wants. We've switched her over to the metal ones.

Great dishes for birds!!
I have switched all of my birds from cockatiels to conures to ringnecks over to these dishes. They are sturdy enough to withstand the beaks of even my ringnecks. They all still look brand new. They are easy to clean and are secure in the cage. Love them!
