Etnies Men's RVM Skate Shoe

This is my third pair of these. I love the mid design and they are very comfortable, but the materials and adhesives are very, very poor quality. The heel cup rubber will crush and break apart if your heel presses down on it when putting them on and they upper separates from the sole quickly. Why did I go through three pairs? Because I could live with cutting open the inside of the heel and pulling out the rubber on the first two, but the last pair came apart at the sole very quickly, so I went back to one of my old pairs. The same thing happened within a week. Then I went back to my first pair and they very soon after also separated from the sole. REALLY unfortunate, because I love the design. By the way, I just wear these casually as my skating days are behind me.

I love the RVM! Such a comfortable Mid-Top shoe that feels flexible and not restrictive, in spite of the high collar. It's padded to just the right amount. The toe box is great for flip tricks, since it's semi-rounded and not too pointy. I get a comfortable flick that is consistent. However, the toe box has two panels stitched together. I recommend super glue or shoe goo on the stitching after a session or two to see where the most wear is, so you can make them last even longer. Sole is super grippy and doesn't flatten out very easily.Go get you a pair!

Although I bought these 8 months ago, I've probably worn them 20 times, and the sole is tearing off of one. They're still brand new looking, and already garbage. I have pumas, converse and Adidas with 10 times the mileage, and no problems. This is my first and last pair of etnies.

I got these because I thought they were name brand and looked great but the backing to the heel has some kind of plastic shell inside that fell apart in less then 2 months. Made then unusable, the back would cave in and the plastic part actually broke in a way that would stab and dig into my heel. Would not recommend this product.

I love Etnie’s ,, best fit,, best looking, and they feel fantastic. I’ve got more complements on this shoe than any other. And best of all,,, the price was right.

I ride bmx and these shoes do the job great. Nice padding around the ankle and works great for breaks.(Breakless rider, I use my shoe as my break in the tire)

Not a comfortable shoe, and the heel back started breaking down 2-3 days after I started wearing them. Do not recommend.
