Solid choice for a little kid’s lunchbox
I researched lunch boxes for months, and came to the conclusion that there’s no perfect option. Ideally it would be stainless steel, sectioned, leak proof, easy to clean. The sectioned stainless boxes are so pricey. Too pricey for something that could so easily get left behind at the playground and never seen again. So as far as plastic lunch boxes go, this is one of the best.+ it’s easy for my 3.5 yr old to open and close+ ok for l hummus and yogurt, but not anything runnier+ pleasing colors, cute prints+ slim, but holds a lot- is best cleaned by hand with a bottle brush- can get pretty messy when turned upside or sideways, like in a backpack, and the opened- the cute patterns on the bottom scratch up easily, even with hand washingI think overall it’s a good buy, and my little one is pretty happy with it.

We love this lunchbox! My five year old uses it for school everyday.The portions are perfect for him. It’s easy for him to open and it cleans up quickly.

Compartments are leak proof from each other!
This is a great Bento and is a good size for pre-school to maybe 3rd grade or higher. We’ve used one Yumbox for the past 2.5 years straight and its held up great. I bought two more just to mix things up a bit.

Perfect size
The size is perfect. I originally got the Bentgo box bc everyone in my sons class had that. However it was too big to fit in the personalized pottery barn lunch bag I got him. A friend of mine got the yumbox for her son and i tested it and it was just a tiny bit smaller than bentgo but smaller enough it was a perfect fit. Have had no leak issues, portion areas are perfect size for my 4.5 year old and very easy to clean.

Son loves it!
I purchased this for my son who started kindergarten. I wanted to try to reduce waste and not use little plastic baggies for his lunches. This works great!! It’s easy for him to open and he loves the little compartments.

Easy for child to open and close on own.
Ordered 3 and am delighted with the purchase. Bought on the recommendation of a friend. Grandchild can open and close on own. No need for individual containers since the Yumbox is divided into food group sections.

A well sized and made box
Very well made. The portion size of each compartment is well sized. The manufacturer clearly put some thought into this.Item has done well in the dishwasher. Too rack for the shell and either for the insert.Have not noticed any leaks in this at all.

The perfect lunchbox for my kids!
LOVE this lunch box! I have two. I bought one for my 4 yr old to use at preschool about a year ago. Liked it so much that I bought one for my two year old too! We’ve used them a lot this summer when packing lunches for our days out. They are the perfect size for my boys. Easy to handle. Super easy to clean. Love them!
