Nettle wrapped traditional Yarg made from pasteurised cows milk is a fresh, lemony cheese. It is creamy under its natural rind and slightly crumbly in the core. The leaves are brushed onto the cheese in concentric circles. As the cheese matures, the edible nettle rind imparts a delicate, mushroomy taste and develops its unique bloomy white appearance. This cornish yarg has won Gold at British Cheese Awards 2016/2017, Gold at the Great Taste Awards 2016, and finally Best English Cheese at International Cheese Awards 2012. - Wrap in wax paper, store below 8 degrees, serve at room temperature.
