Good for music and calls
These headphones are very cosy, the controls are easy to use. I have no connection problems with a number of devices, although you can only connect to two of them at once which can require a little juggling in the app - mostly it sorts itself out appropriately.Teams and phone calls work well - which was important for me. However it doesn't feed your own voice back - you can barely hear yourself speak which is a bit weird. At first I kept asking "Can you hear me OK?" because I couldn't hear me!Sound cancelling - good but not as absolute as I expected - it silences my co-workers' voices but not totally their annoying music!Music sound quality - the slight bass emphasis is not a problem for me, it works for the things I listen to. There is plenty of detail in the music - good, and also bad depending on the sound file quality! Some mixes can sound cluttered, because the headphones are giving so much detail. Volume - to get really loud you need to juggle both the headset volume and the device volume. I have hearing damage from a drum machine so I have a natural limit for the volume I can take, but if you want it louder than that you probably shouldn't!

Description says silver, picture says black - product delivered is the black ones
Not sure why the seller is trying to sell the black ones under the description of them being grey?Thankfully after black, resigned myself to it being silver, and didn't want to pay the £300 amazon at the time were charging to guarantee the black colour - delighted when I got the black pair for £120 less though. That out the way - these are Bose headphones not cheap, certainly not true audiophile, but for my aging hearing I probably couldn't tell the full difference on the sound front. For me at least they sound extremely good and well balanced, some may say a little lacking on the base front but then you don't get the associated headache and suffer from both weak mid and high notes as a result. They are comfortable to wear (as long as your not trying to exercise), deliver on the noise reduction aspect - assuming the ear piece covering hasn't split (more on that later), and a good sound. You do need to download the app should you need to use it with multiple devices over bluetooth as there are times when it sees 2 devices and can't play the Bluetooth audio feed from one of them because it's the secondary device rather than primary on the list. However without the app install they can still be used and can switch between bluetooth audio feeds from different devices, it can take a minute if you have 6 paired devices. The only real downer is that the earpads wear after 18-24 months (I needed a second pair anyway, which is why I know - and hence why I bough these) and getting replacements involves 3rd party, as Bose don't want to sell the parts for the QC35 but instead for the QC25 which they suggest are not fully compatible. So you need to factor in £15 +/- £5 for ear pieces every 18-24 months if used regularly - i.e. a few hours every day. They charge quickly and can be used as wired headphones with the included cable. If you want USBc charging then go for the QC45 - not tried them, but you'll also pay a lot more than for the QC35 MK2's for the convenience of not having to use micro usb to USB3 charging adapters.

Love them!
I had some old QC15s before and added a bluetooth module so they were wireless, but they were a bit battered and the bluetooth only lasted about 3-4 hours.I decided to upgrade to these and am not disappointed. Still have that QC comfort factor and they seem to last forever. The sound is great, bluetooth connects with no issues and I like the fact I can control the connections via the phone app too.I've also used the assistant buttons a few times while out and about and it works well... "Alexa, play Heart radio" etc.

Very comfortable, great software.
Yes they block out noise - but by no means all. Yes they're comfortable. But what's not often mentioned is the outstanding software. Firstly they tell you the battery percentage when you turn them on. More importantly, in these days of having many Bluetooth devices that you sometimes want to connect these to, they tell you what two Bluetooth devices they are currently connected to, and let you know if any drop out. And they almost always get this right, trying to connect to the most recent two devices for about 10 seconds before looking for others. No more running around the house to turn off a distant tablet that grabbed the Bluetooth connection before your laptop right next to you, or whatever. Finally, the app allows you to explicitly turn off the connection to a device if you need to disable on.
