I bought this pump to fit in a large tubtrugs tub of water I have fitted in the top of my well. It pumps with a good flow with the inlet valve fully open, with 2' 6" of head, into 1/2" copper pipe joined to the pump with 6" of flexible hose from a local aquarium supplies shop into the larger of the 2 supplied connection nozzles. The copper pipe discharges into an old well bucket hung above the well and tub, which fills and overflows back into the tub. I have it on all day, using a timer switch, from 07.00-20.00 and all you hear is the lovely sound of trickling water, as the pump is silent.Brilliant product at at brilliant price delivered the next day, using Prime. I don't hesitate to recommend it if it's max head of 6' is sufficient for your needs.

This pump's power for such a small unit is amazing. I set it up to operate via a copper pipe with an old outside tap (fitted to the house wall) flowing into a galvanised watering can on a bracket and then out into a large glazed flower pot (the sump). I doubted if it would provide an adequate flow, but I was wrong, it gives all the flow you'd need in most water features. Very pleased with it and it wasn't expensive either.

Quick delivery, well made small pump, the only issue and the reason for three stars is the low pressure, I am using this pump in a garden ornament with a rise of about 15 inches and it is coping quite well at this height, however, in my opinion the pump would struggle to obtain a lift of 63inches. I would advise a stronger pump if you require a lift of this height.

Great little pump.Does the job for our water feature.

Had an identical looking one by another name that rattled so loudly I could hear from the road.Sceptical, but this one is quiet, no residual hum or marbles in a tin can which the other produced.Used for a garden water deature.Short led, but there are mains cable shrouds, ours looks like a rugby ball and works just fine.TIP: REPLACE TGE FUSEIt should have a low 3amp fuse at the max and this has a 13 amp fuse, which means it would melt before cutting out, so change it.

The media could not be loaded.  Absolute junk. The vibrations are severe and you can hear the hum indoors. Meantime as much as the flow is good it squeaks and pops. I'm gutted I through our the old pump already. This is not a quality item and I can't send it back now 😡

I purchased this pump to replace one in a garden water feature that had died. This one is actually much more powerful than the one it replaced even on lowest setting, but I have managed to tame it! My one slight query (and hence four stars rather than five stars) is that the plug was fitted with a 13 amp fuse. All my previous pond pumps have required a 3 amp fuse for safety. Maybe this one is different (I'm not an electrician), but I have fitted a 3 amp fuse to be on the safe side.
