Graphic Products Duro 1-inch Gothic Vinyl Letters and Numbers Set, Red

I installed these 1-inch red vinyl letters on a plastic storage trunk that I custom mounted to my scooter (see photos). The trunk allows me to shop for a week's worth of groceries and save on gas by using my fun-to-ride scooter. Yes, I am a complete nerd, but that has nothing to do with these vinyl letters!I spelled "FLAMMABLE" on the trunk, not because I ever carry anything that's actually flammable, but I figured it would keep other drivers on the road away from my scooter if they thought they might blow up their car if they got in an accident with me! I was going to spell "EXPLOSIVES" but I thought that might get me in trouble with the police, so I went with flammable (and some reflective tape and ghoulish skulls)!Anyway, I've had these letters on the trunk for many months and they've held up really well. They haven't start to peel at all, which is impressive because the trunk is made of hard, shiny plastic that might easily repel paint or not be receptive to adhesive. I ride around at 40-50 mph all the time, and sometimes it's raining lightly, but the vinyl letters have proved durable. I do store the scooter in my garage, so the letters don't get full-time outdoor exposure, which would be much tougher. But in those circumstances, I wouldn't expect the letters to hold up for years anyway (I'd use something with more durability than vinyl adhesive letters for decade-long toughness).The photos show the general use of the letters, a close-up so you get a sense of their thickness, and two flash shots that show that the letters are not reflective (compare them to the reflective tape, which I also bought on Amazon). But they do read quite easily, even from a distance, and do what I wanted them to do: scare away drivers of cars on the road!

I already had some of these letters - from a long time ago - and was happy to see that they are still being made and matched the ones I have. I used them to mark boxes of phonograph records. They did the job and look great.

These are really easy to use - no mess decal vinyl letters and numbers stickers. Wished they had ones where it's all numbers only, but they worked out for my project. Sticks well, looks clean. Good product!

Slightly DAMAGED on about the first 12 inches of the tape. A stain of some kind. But the undamaged part of the tape was very good. Instead of left over tape the amount was sufficient to complete the job correctly that I purchased the tape for. RECCOMENDED '

Fit my application very well.Letters did not benefit from vendor folding sheet to fit in too small envelope.
