FryeReed Zip Leather Hobo

I really do love this purse! I am known for carrying tote bags for purses. This purse easily holds everything without looking big. The pocket on the outside makes it perfect. Of course the leather in the Reed line at Frye really makes the purse.

I don't know why the name of this product is "Zip Leather Hobo." The bag does not zip closed. It is a bucket bag with a magnetic snap closure, with an extra sideways snap that can be used to close it a bit tighter. I knew this when I ordered it; I was not looking for it to zip, so I am pleased with it. But beware of the product title. This is a great Frye leather bag. Nice leather and very roomy and not overly heavy. The shoulder strap is the length I prefer, meaning that the bottom of the bag hits at my high hip area when the bag is worn on the shoulder. The description says the strap is adjustable but it isn't, unless you wish to use a leather punch to add holes, and even then, the space for adjusting it it only about an additional inch. I love this bag and wish it also came in black. I look forward to using it for years to come.

The purse was good quality and a nice size. The strap was a bit too long for me, it seems long over all. Great purse, great quality.

Bag is lovely but heavy to use. If you need a light weight bag. This is not for you.

I love the color-just the right 'mellow yellow' with leather that is very soft. This is my first Frye handbag and will buy others for the quality of the leather and how 'rich' I feel when I use it. The purse came less than 10 days after I ordered it. I sprayed it with a leather protector because we get heavy rains in S. Korea. Thanks, Amazon Prime!

it's very roomy with a front slot perfect for a phone--the over the shoulder strap is a perfect length --it's fully lined with a zipper pocket with two open pockets--all in all it's perfect for me-has all the design aspects I look for--it's in Sunflower--was concerned it might be yellow but it's a mellow caramel beautiful! I would highly recommend this bag!
