I plated this culture on agar and it tested clean. no mold contamination indicating that the fermentation, and packaging of this product is done in a clean way. good job!

I've added this supplement to aid proper digestion. I've been feeling pretty good. It's hard to know if this is the reason, but I'm going to continue taking it.

I struggle to keep my ferritin / iron stores at a higher level do to inconsistencies on my part with supplements : ( [Nutshell: Early 50's and unkind periods with approaching menopause.] With a current level of "9" I know my thyroid is struggling so I'm intent on getting levels to optimum 90-100 range for proper function. While reading on all things iron & thyroid (do if you haven't. Very interesting and enlightening!) I came across a specific study of the increase in iron absorption when taking this particular strain of probiotic -- a 50% increase at that (in meal studies). That's huge! So, tiny little bottle of probiotic arrived and I've only been taking it with my iron supplement for less than a week. In 3 months I'll recheck my ferritin levels and update this post. I like Swanson supplements and that's why I bought this brand specifically.

I used these to sour my beer. It works.
