I am beyond satisfied the quality of this item. My previous keychain ripped apart after several years of abuse (e.g. tug of war with my dog, pulling it out of my bag several times a day, breaking the metal chain numerous times trying to pulling it out of my bag, accidentally stepping on it, etc.) and it was time to finally replace it. Since I live and die by reviews, I began my research for quality keychains, but the main goal was to get a matching but professional keychain for my spouse (strict work environment). I came across this and so I purchased it after the great reviews. And I'm glad I did.PROS:+ We have about 3-4 keys each & its amazing to be able to simply slide one of the rings off without having to detach and remove every key+ the leather strap is simple, clean, and looks very professional+ I constantly pull the keychain out of my bag (vigorously) and it hasn't torn apart yet+ it comes with 3 rings+ the sliding button makes it convenient to be able to remove the rings without any issuesCONS:- Idk really, I'll let you know when I come across oneThis is a great purchase and I feel like a good investment for something so high quality...because who really has time to keep replacing their keychains.

Well made with heavy metal and real leather. It works great for me because you put each key on a separate ring so you can take off one to use while they are in the ignition. I’m always forgetting to lock house door before starting car so easy to slip door key off ring.

I wanted a low profile keychain that had functionality and was just simple. This thing is great, the latch is secure and I feel it will not randomly open up in my pocket which was my fear for some of the other designs. I don't want any keys coming off the main key chain then all the sudden I am losing important keys that I need. This will make it incredibly easy to hand keys over to valet or the mechanic from the car, or if for whatever reason you need to take house keys or some other keys off, maybe you want to take a walk around the neighborhood and you want to leave your car keys for someone else. Whatever the case, this is very simple but solid and dependable at the same time.The only weird thing is I am not sure I am cool with the leather strap, it looks like there are two screws keeping it in place though so I may investigate removing it in the future if after a few weeks I still don't like it. Solid key chain and works wonderfully to replace my aging key chain.UPDATE:I have removed the leather strap with the two screws I mentioned above. The keychain is now lower profile and I like it more. The leather would just get in the way in my pocket and it wasn't too functional in my opinion. I just want others to know that the leather portion is very easily removed if you are only interested in the functional parts of the keychain like I was.

I am extremely satisfied with my purchase of the Mehr key ring. It is attractive (red leather with chrome/silver accents), fashionable, and not to mention affordable (under $10 & free shipping if you have Prime). It comes with 3 rings that can hold three different sets of keys. One could hold your work keys, the other house keys and the last one, your car keys. They are easy to remove from the central device. This was a major selling point for me since I have on occasion used valet services (restaurants etc). The ability to detach my individual keys is great. If you are worried about others having access to your other personal keys while you valet, you can keep them with you, leaving only the car key. You simply release the latch, remove the set of keys that you don’t want to remain, and slip the others into your purse or pocket and you are ready to go. This is a great safety feature. I give the Mehr key ring 5 stars and highly recommend it.

This is an excellent, high caliber functional key chain that comes in a nicely laid out box, ideal for a gift. The quickly detachable key rings were my primary objective. You can only say so much about a key chain, but I can elaborate quite a bit on how to make the best from one.On a first date with a really wonderful woman, we met at a restaurant that had Valet Parking. When we left, I noticed that she had given the Valet her entire key chain with dozens of keys on it. I didn't think this was a very safe thing to do, so I went online and found this well presented key chain that comes in a nice gift box. I gave to her on our second date she loved it, especially because of the caring thought behind it and the concern for her safety. It definitely set the tone for the direction of our relationship.However, it gets better. The first day she had it, she used the detachable car key ability three times and really saw the benefit of it and it gave her a great idea. She is a Real Estate Agent and it occurred to her that this is a great gift to give to her new home buyers as part of the Thank You at the close of a sale with the new house keys.So a tip for Mehr: you may want to directly market these key chains to RE Agents and RE Offices, perhaps with their logo engraved on it.

Amazing Key Chain. Worth the buck. This key chain is very friendly in terms of handling different keys. Meaning, this comes with a small button, when you slide down the two key rings can be unhooked from the key chain. You can have your Car Keys in one ring, House Keys in one ring, Closet keys in one ring etc. This way, you can easily remove the set of keys off the key chain without going through the hassle of unhooking the key from the key ring itself. When I give my car for regular service, I just have to unhook the ring that holds my car keys and hand it over to the dealer. Isn't that cool?Besides, it looks very elegant and upscale with fine leather and color. The blue might not look as bright as it looks in the images, but it wouldn't put you off either. Good choice to go for. Simple, Smart and Elegant !!

Looks nice and works well! (Use a small blunt knife to pry open the metal ring layers when putting your keys on!) I avoid using more than one metal ring because I have few keys and having keys on multiple rings led to tangles on occasion. Will say...the unit with the long red band is a fair size to keep in one's pocket for someone not used to carrying any coins.
