I needed about 50 foot of copper 4 AWG cable. Local auto part sells it for $2.00 a foot and another at $3.00 a foot. I found these at a super low price. It was cheaper to buy these and cut them to size for the cable, if there is truth in advertising. The truth is, there is 25 foot of jumper cable and not 12.5 foot because some vendors sell to total length of both cables. The truth is they are copper clad aluminum conductors. They are not 4 AWG, they are 6 AWG. I was forced to buy smaller lugs to fit a 6mm/1/4 inch cable. I also had to use a much smaller A/C inverter The jaws are also copper clad carbon steel.I have enough cable left over to build an 8 foot jumper with good quality handles.These are good jumpers and they were well worth the $16.00 I paid for them. Even if I butchered them for my 12 volt device charging second battery on board my vehicle.

Upon arrival, just seeing the cables was enough to say heavy duty. It is the best msde jumper cables I have owned. I am 66, so I have owned many. And price was right. I paid that ammount for the cheap get me by cables. These should last a life time. I try to keep a set in every car or truck I own. It is the one thing you should all ways have. Well that and a hidden key to unlock door and trunk.

We purchased 5 sets of these cables. We bought them for our two daughters and our parents and 1 for myself to ensure they would never be stranded out on the road.Guys these are great quality! One of the main features that stands out is the length because you're not always conveniently parked when your battery dies on you, so that is an added plus. Also I like that they come in a nice zip up bag so that can be neatly stored in your trunk. Great value!!!

Bag storage is cheap plastic. Won’t last from handling.

I have used the cables to start a completely dead large SUV. They work will and grip well on the battery. Only complaint I have is the carrier. It may just be made as a display, but the carrier is very flimsy and cable handle pushed through the plastic. I would like to use it for storage, but I will just role them now.

It's high quality and heavy duty cables. Package is very nice and easily fits into the corner of my wifes Toyota car trunk. Not in the way at all!

These cables are very sturdy and perform well on cold winter days. The cables don't get stiff in the cold, but remain pliable and easy to maneuver and get attached to the appropriate connections. I've used them several times with good results. The long length is helpful too--don't skimp on that!

I really like these they're very durable and a good value these are my backup for my car
