Frontier Chili Powder Blend, Fiesta, 16 Ounce Bag

WOW-this chili mix smells INCREDIBLE! Smells extremely fresh with an expiration date of August of 2018. I made a batch of chili tonight and this is my take on the seasoning: this is a VERY complex, layered and sophisticated chili seasoning mix! I have NEVER knowingly used a chili mix before that had allspice and cloves in it which is probably why it has some sweet notes to it (at least to my palate anyway). Now, I personally prefer a chili mix that is lighter in color-more of a red style chili mix as opposed to a brown style chili mix which is what this mix is. Sort of a McCormick Chili Mix (brown) vs. French's Chili-O Mix(red). Overall I have never had such a chili mix as this and I HIGHLY recommended it!

I have used Frontier Fiesta Chili powder for many years [25 maybe?]. The reason I like it so much is that it's very consistent win flavor and it has NO SALT, so you can use less Fiesta because it is all chili peppers. This might seem like a small thing until you consider that when making a chili recipe, often you use tomatoes with salt, beans with salt and perhaps other seasonings [garlic or onion salts] and then top the soup with SALTines - or worse yet, Fritos and cheese. When using salted chili powder it's so easy to get it too salty by the time all is combined. Try the Fiesta Chili - you'll never go back to standard chili powder again! Oh, and a last thing: Kick your chili up one more notch by adding just a smidgen of unsweetened cocoa or cacao to the pot. YUM!!

I've been told my chili is the best, and I prefer it over anyone else's. Frontier fiesta chili powder is my secret ingredient, also for any Mexican dish. Perfect blend, love that it's not irradiated.

The Frontier chili powder fiesta blend is the best of all chili powder varieties we've tried. It has a very pleasant Mexican style chili powder flavor that doesn't really have much heat at all. It works great for chili.After pouring some of the seasoning out of the package into a seasoning dispenser using a funnel we fold the package over tight and close it with a close-pin. The remainder stays fresh quite well that way.Overall my family is very pleased with it. A dish that includes beans just isn't the same without it.

I replaced all my old McCramick cheap spices with fresh ones from this company. Best culinary decision of 2020! With them I mix my own Taco, Chili seasoning and Rib Rub, which I store in fridge to keep from clumping, since I live in constant high humidity here in Hawaii. My cooking was always outstanding, but the flavors of these spices has kicked up the results another notch. Warning, since they're high quality, you may need less. I use only tiny amount of their Cayenne compared to cheaper brands, as it packs a punch. It's a delicious punch, but it is powerful. You can always add more 🙂 Try them!

This is my favorite chili powder. I use a lot of chili powder. Frontier sells it in 1 pound bags for an economical price. The quality is excellent. Fiesta is a blend with chili powder, herbs and spices. If you want pure chili powder, they sell that also. I use a mixture of the two.

Adds great flavor w/o salt. Makes for a rich flavored chili. Used to get this directly from Frontier Herbs (Co-op buying club) So happy I can get it again !

I am not a chili head by any stretch of the imagination, so I love this chili powder blend because it is not overly hot. In spite of its lack of heat, it is extremely flavorful, so I replaced my little grocery store packets of "chile mix" with this. I also use it in dips, etc. Really good.
