BirkenstockMen's Suede Soft Footbed Arizona Sandal

These shoes feel wonderful on my feet! The arch support is incredible. What amazes me is that it took me so long to try these shoes!

I ordered for my son, his old one was to small. He ❤it. Very comfortable and light.

These sandals are by far the best fitting sandals I have ever owned. Your foot slides into place and forms to the shape of your foot. They are comfortable and will always be in style. You might say that the look of Birkenstocks are TIMELESS!

Would steer clear of these. I ordered a pair for a summer vacation, I was suspicious when they arrived in a plain unbranded cardboard box, no accompanying information or documents - at first glance look like genuine Birkenstocks, but looked a little closer, seen the smeared glue, moulding defects and rigidity of the footbed, it became obvious these are likely counterfeit, all-be-it fairly convincing counterfeits.I would advise anybody looking for a pair to spend the extra £ and buy from a reputable high street supplier or direct from Birkenstock. Returned.

They say to order your normal size for these, so I ordered 46 (11.5) as this is what I normally wear, but they were the size of canoes. I then returned these and got the next size down 45 (10.5) but I've had to ask for my money back on these as well. The raised toe ridge just seems to be in the wrong place, in order to get it under your toes where it's meant to be you have to jam your feet so far forwards that your toes are then pressing against the raised front of the sandal. When walking your feet won't stay in that position, so you end up with the ridge under the pads of your toes. If the ridge was a bit further back it would be fine. A shame because they look sturdy and well made other than that.

Eigentlich bin ich ein überzeugter Birkenstock Fan. Vor ca. 3 Monaten entschied ich mich, einmal das Modell Eva auszuprobieren, da ich die Hausschuhe in der Arbeiz täglich mehrere Stunden trage und mir diese Variante hygienischer vorkommt als jene mit gewöhnlichem Lederfußbett.Die Lieferung war wie immer schnell, der erster Eindruck sehr gut - erstaunlich leichtes Gewicht, angenehmes Fußbett, leicht zu reinigendes Material. Von diesem Gesichtspunkt her eine klare Kaufempfehlung.Allerdings zeigten ich nach bereits 2 Monaten Ermüdungserscheinungen im Material im Sinne von Rissen im Bereich der Kumststoffriemen, welche rasch größer werden. Die Hausschuhe sind somit innerhalb kürzester Zeit nicht mehr verwendbar. Die bisher erworbenen Birkenstock-Modelle konnten stets länger als nur 2 Monate getragen werden.....Fazit: Die Marke Birkenstock wird in diesem Falle hinsichtlich der Qualität bei diesem Produkt ihrem Namen leider nicht gerecht.

This Seller fulfilled the order quickly and did not send the wrong fitting size (as did another well known supplier). Admittedly I had to have blue colour as the only one left in my size 7.5 UK i.e. regular fitting as opposed to small/narrow fitting. However I did not mind that at all. I have worn Birkenstocks for years and provided you can get the right width for your feet they seem to be the only manufacturers that are consistent in their sizing/widths. I now buy no other shoes/sandals other than Ecco shoes as life is too short on keeping swapping shoes as the wrong size sent.

The outline of the sole fits the outline of my foot nearly perfectly but the topography and rigidity of the sole feels like it will harm my feet.I don't have arch support when I walk barefoot. Haven't our feet have evolved so that our arches receive no direct contact pressure? When my running shoes wear to the point that I feel the sole contact my arches I bin them but evidently Birkenstock consider this a benefit?I've worn the Arizona EVA daily since buying them about a year ago and find them to be the most comfortable footwear I have ever had but they are much softer. I have now tried the cork/latex/leather version in both a 265 (as recommended by Birkenstock) and a 270. My longest foot is ~267mm and widest is ~257mm (circumference).I didn't even fasten the straps on them such was the discomfort of the sole. Returned. Amazon service exemplary - such that I feel guilty returning them. EDIT: Be aware that if you return an item via the Amazon Locker service, you have no proof of the return! A month after returning these, they still show as "in transit" and Amazon has sent me a reminder email to return them. Unacceptable.
