Bought these for my Chevy Cruze about a year ago. Never had to add air to the tires until today. Went to take the back passenger side cap off, it won't come off. Try the other three, they won't come off either. I had to use vice grips and pliers to take them off. The vice grips chewed up my valve stem neck so now I have to take the car to the tire shop to have my valve stems replaced. Not to mention the one rear passenger side cap STILL won't come off. And you can't even tell what it is anymore. It's just a stripped out piece of metal covering the valve stem because my pliers tore it apart without removing it. I had previously bought these for my Mustang and my dad's jeep. I took them off both cars and threw them out. It's insane how 10 dollar valve covers cost me 150 dollars in tire repairs all because of corrosion.

Unfortunately, if you have the typical copper based tire pressure valves, these will corrode and not be removable! The problem lies in the material that they are made from and the mixture of road grime, such as magnesium chloride used for snow removal, will cause very rapid corrosion, which will freeze these caps on to your valves.These look very nice and are very solid in construction, however, if you live anywhere where there is snow and have copper valves, do not buy these. This product cost me nearly $600 in repairs because my valves are also pressure sensors, (GM product), which cost over $100 each.

Had a family member notice I had a nail in my tire and I went to go check my tire pressure and the cap was stuck to the valve stem! Not on just 1 tire either! It took two wrenches and about 35 minutes to get them off. I was minutes from giving up and going to a tire shop to get new valve stems. I’m just lucky I got them off but now my valve stems are all scratched up. Do not buy this product.

These valve stem caps are not threaded deep enough to fully seat against the valve stem. Thus the cap sits too high on the valve stem making it look ridiculous. With the cap fully seated, it makes the end of the valve stem stand out past the outside edge of the wheel.

These are not threaded in far enough and you can see a BIG gap between them and the stem. This also makes them stick up further which also looks bad. They should be offered for sale really cheap acknowledging this flaw in the ad. NOT acceptable when the point of them is to make your vehicle look better, not worse! I returned them and bought others.

Loved the look of these caps on my all black car with black rims. Purchased them in December. What you need to know is if you live in colder climate area like me here in Michigan you’d better grease the inside of them or else they will corrode inside and you won’t be able to get them off in the spring like I tried today. I had to heat them up using a propane torch on low flame to get them to break loose. Unfortunately they were destroyed in the process.

They Fit perfectly for my Chevy Trax 2013I read the reviews about getting stuck and people ruin their valve due to extreme Cold / snow damaging these, but, I live in Costa Rica, so perhaps even with the sheer amount of rain here this does not seems to be an issue, I did apply WD-40 on them before putting them on ...just in case weather could cause damage but in overall they look great!! I highly recommended them in you live in countries without snow (if the other reviews are true)... heavy rain and small floods do not seem to be a problem for them.

These caps dont have a deep enough thread well. Some of the brass from the air stem is still exposed making it look a little silly. Only a minor gap, not enough for environment exposure and really only noticeable when its close up.2016 Chevy Camaro RS
