Mizuno Youth Premier Players Baseball Pant

When your kids remember the brand of pant they used last season, they must be good. My boys request these pants by name due to the comfort and fit. They also love that they have sliding pads built in so they don't get rasberries on their buns from sliding. They are great we have probably 10 pairs already. A little pricey compared to most other brands but they are sure quality and worth it, plus they look really good.

These pants have held up better than other brands I have bought for my son.

I cannot rave about these pants enough!!!!!! I hope the extra exclamation points helps you understand just how awesome they are. My 8 year old has always been slim. He's just under average height, but only in the 5th percentile for weight. So shopping for pants has always been challenging and frustrating. Baseball pants even more so. I cannot tell you how ridiculous we have felt with large safety pins, drawstrings that still didn't work, or belts that would tighten the waist, but leave the legs and bum area full of air. Then came these mizuno pants. They fit!! Holy cow they fit! To help with sizing, my 8 (nearly 9) year old weighs 50 lbs. I don't know his height, but he's only just under average. We bought medium. They do require a baseball belt (can pick one up for $6-8, but it doesn't need to be overly tightened and the legs stay slim. My son likes his pants to his cleats, but they could be hiked up if that is preferred. I think they will easily fit for another few inches and 10 or more pounds. These have held up through spring, summer, and now fall ball with a boy who insists on sliding and diving for everything. They wash easily enough (lets be honest, grass does take a little work) and still look great. I'll be buying a second pair of the same size in the spring.

My very thin 10 year old fits into the medium. He is almost 5’5’’, weighs 87lbs. They are right in the legs but have a good stretch in the waist. I would NOT recommend these if your child does not like their pants slim fitting. They will likely only fit for one season, but for the price it was worth it.

Every season, my kid tries on at least 10 pants before he finds one that is “tolerable”. These are so comfortable that we got two and he wears them to every practice. They have a little padding which is nice and they are slim fit which is a huge plus for my kid who hates all things baggy.

I bought these for my son to play Tball this year. These pants are thick and great quality. I was very pleased from the moment I pulled them out of the box. I wish there was a size guide to order by because I did order the wrong size, but just use a belt which is no problem. Just in case any of you are wondering the same thing. I ordered my 5yr old a size small and they are too big, will probably fit him next season as well if he doesn't stain them too bad this season. I would say that a small is around a size 6. I have to fold the bottom of the pants up under his pant leg quite a bit and he has an elastic sport belt to hold them up which has the pants folded over a bit to get it tight enough. That's nothing wrong with the pants though, that's just a lack of a good sizing guide and at least they are too big which can be worked around.

Best baseball pants out there!I'm going t join the other reviewers in saying how awesome these are. My son is very slim, and we always had trouble finding good pants too. The standard ones the town provides always end up being 5 sizes too big and see through, so we only use those for backups. I only bought him one pair of these in a sz M for the 2013 season for my then 10 year old son of average heigh but very skinny. He wore these for 2 years and i just went back for the next size up and his 8 year old (tall) brother is now wearing them.These pants still look great! and they are white.(and they get very dirty) And i'm no laundry magician either. I usually spray them with oxi, sometimes wash with bleach, wash on hot, and line dry (so the stains don't set) and they are still acceptably white.They are like magical baseball pants!They are very well made and after 2 seasons of heavy use they have no snags, rips, holes or whatever. (this with sliding, fence climbing and all that). These look better after 2 seasons then the other pants after 1 game.They are not see through, have nice pockets and closure, nice slim waist and just look very nice on.

Every year I struggle trying to find baseball pants that fit my very slim son, and every year he ends up looking like he's wearing clown pants. Some reviewers mentioned that these have a slim fit so I gave them a try. My son is 48" and about 48 lbs with a tiny 21" waist and these pants (size S) fit him better than any other he's ever tried on (and we've tried on many different styles and brands at the local sporting goods store in the past.) I'm very pleased with the fit...they don't fall down without a belt! And they seem well made, but only time will tell. First game is on Saturday.NOTE: It would be helpful to have a sizing guide, but I searched online and found one that helped me pick the correct size for this brand/style.UPDATE: Season's finally over and these pants really held up to some strenuous play (30+ games of constant sliding, diving, & general 8 year-old horseplay!) So, not only do they fit fabulously, but they are also very well made. These are the only baseball pants will buy for my son from now on.

Ordered a large but fit smaller than expected. Definitely not a standard size large for a youth.

Pants exactly what I was expecting. Delivery date was estimated between may 1-5 arrived May 5. Will definitely buy again!
