Great table and chairs! A couple of the chair legs are uneven but everything else was good.

Just bought this table and received a few days ago. Husband is handy and says it went together fine, better then Ikea (he hates). We have young kids so didn't want to spend alot as they are rough on stuff but wanted a nice table. I was pleased by the color, it looks better in person then online. Happy with the quality, chairs have decent cushions. We will see how the sets wears and if its bad I will update but I shopped for months for a table and choose this one because it was closest to the size I wanted ( I was actually looking for bigger slightly) the number of chairs, and the price. I wish it came it a grey washed look that is my only complaint but again I was okay once I saw it the color was okay for what it was.

My wife and I purchased this table because we wanted something solid but not too expensive. The table itself looks very nice seems sturdy enough to hold up for many years.The table has a "distressed" look, but it is quite subtle. We almost mistook it for shipping damage until we realized that the pattern was identical on multiple chairs.As other reviewers for similar products have stated, this table was delivered with minor damage. The wood was split in several places on the tabletop. We feel this is partly the fault of the shipping company, since the box was heavily damaged and roughly handled. BEYOND stores provided excellent support and offered to pay to have a local furniture store repair the damage. We were quite happy with the overall value provided.One final note, look closely at the stock photo and you will see that it has been altered. The chair on the right side actually straddles the leg of the table, but the chair leg has been removed to make it appear that all three chairs can fit between the table legs. In reality, four chairs are required to straddle the table legs in the configuration shown. This is not a big deal for us, but worth mentioning.Overall, a very nice table for the price, and we highly recommend purchasing through BEYOND stores.

i had been waiting miserably for this to deliver. we've seen this dining set is the golden brown tone at other furniture stores, which sold at much lower price, but was unable to find this color and decided to buy through the web.as expected, there were slight damages, like lines or broken piece, but we had called and they were taken care of by the store's customer service. the assembly didn't take too long.we have hardwood floor, and had to put the sticky cushion underneath the chair legs so that it wouldn't scratch our floors or make noise. also, after 2 weeks of use, we began to notice that the tabletop is a bit weak. there were incidental scratches from use and we realized we needed to be extra careful with this piece. the dining table is heavy and sturdy, but i guess the wood is easily scratchable? it may be ideal to place a glass or table cloth over to protect the dining table top to prevent damage from everyday use.

Good, sturdy table (very heavy). Assembly was a little challenging, as the instructions had the chair legs reversed (E <-> F), and a couple parts were not manufactured correctly (one bolt mis-cast and a wooden peg was missing). Table instructions were also incorrect where the legs went together (do not use large washers).There are also engraved marks at various spots on the tables and chairs, including on the tabletop (see photo), which mars the appearance of the table (marks are supposed to be there, according to the manufacturer). These marks were not noted in the description of the set, and did not appear in photos.Overall the set is very nice and functional, which is what we were hoping for, although we probably would not purchase a large set like this again on-line unless we had a chance to see the workmanship first-hand.2019 Update: we needed to order a replacement piece for one of the chairs that broke. When we contacted the manufacturer, they refused to assist, stating the set had been purchased from an unauthorized retailer. Just be aware of buying this set from Amazon.

Our tabletop arrived slightly damaged, and the only remedy is to exchange the entire set, including the chairs. Other than that, it is nice stuff.

We wanted this table, we looked at a lot of places for a solid wood table just like this. We were shocked at the price we found with Powell Furniture. This is worth the money. Honestly we looked at having a table made in Amish country to look similar to this and it was going to be $800 more than buying this one. We couldn't be happier and the fact that the leaf to the table folds into the table is wonderful, we don't have to find a way to store it. Chairs are solid, covers are neutral, the color of the table is beautiful. GREAT Choice for anyone looking for a timeless set.

The table and chairs are beautiful and of good quality. However, the table is not packed well enough to survive shipping without damage. It took three tries for them to send a table we were happy with. Even the third table was slightly damaged, but we decided to keep it with a discount rather than send it back a third time.
