Bought these a few months ago for work since we have to wear cut resistant gloves and sleeves when using a knife and they work great for this. I also work around hot plastic and have to move hot parts around and they work for that as well as long as you dont intend to be holding hot things to long. The sleeves fit a little tight on my small arms at first but I had someone with much bigger arms than me wear them for a little bit to stretch them out some and the fingers were too long as well but had my wife sew them back. Overall they are comfortable and efficient for the needs that I have for them.

I’m a vet tech and often work with cats that are injured, painful, stressed, feral, or just downright ornery, and I am strongly against restraining said cats in any way that may exacerbate their pain/stress/fear, etc. These gloves allow me to handle those cats in a fear-free manner: I have total finger dexterity and cats claws don’t puncture or go through the gloves.The gloves don’t look like they’ll protect you from much, and I’ve never been bitten with or without them, but I’ve let multiple coworkers use them and the worst they got if they were bitten was a small bruise!HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR VET CLINICS!

Ok, purchasing this product was only the fault of my own. I should have read the reviews and made my purchase accordingly. I was just too excited to find a fully gloved Kevlar sleeve.First off, I have a 6 month old Mallinois and he like to play rough. He is not mean by any means, but he bites out of his nature. I like to play rough with him too, but when he gets really into it, the teeth come out and end up holding onto my forearm, hands or fingers. The pressure biting is not a big deal, but the scratching from grappling is a killer.I have a set of kevlar work sleeves that I used and they work great. The only problem is, it leaves my fingers exposed, so I wanted to find fully gloved kevlar sleeves.So, some reviews said these are THICK. The package came in plastic wrap and my first impression was, "uh... no", even before I opened the package. Well, I opened up the package and surprisingly, they are pretty thick. However, the reason why they are not puncture-proof is because the weave is quite loose, unlike my work-sleeves.https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B000R7LZH8/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_yeNhEbB1VWJB9So my pup took a bite and it felt like I had no sleeves on at all, so not good for bites, especially puppies with small sharp teeth.Abrasion resistant? No. The weave is so coarse that nails would just catch on the weave and... anything goes.How well do they fit? I'm not an extraordinarily large male, nor am I a small one. I'm pretty average with 13" around the forearm. These are pretty tight - tight enough that they ride down. The finger tips are very uncomfortable, feeling like rough burlap (without the itch). The webbing area is also uncomfortable, as it seems to be cut for a woman, but some areas bite me between the fingers, where other areas don't reach. I'm not sure what model they used for the pattern.Are they heat resistant... I don't know. It's not what I bought these for. So, I'm back to using my work-sleeves to play with my dog. These sleeves are going back.

Works great protecting my hands and forearms at work. The fingers are a little too long for me, but would still recommend

Bought these for glassblowing and had to modify them for my liking as the fingers were too long so I had to cut them off about an 1.5" in for gripping. They do not go up your elbows as much as the photos show so be weary. I'm 5'11" and it goes TO my elbow, no more. I slightly don't recommend these only b/c they price is a little much for me having to modify them for my likings.

Easy to put on and take off. Used it to protect my hands after getting a horrible infection from my cat biting me that sent me to the ER with 2 rounds of antibiotics and still isn’t right. These prevent car bites while trimming their nails and saves your hands! Would buy again, happy with purchase!

PROS- comfortable, able to maintain dexterity while wearing, length of coverage on arms is very goodCONS- Offer little to no protection. Weave of threads is loose, hold up to a light and you can see through the holes, turn gloves inside out and there are unraveling threads on inside. These failed to provide protection when I was handling an aggressive cat that was biting and swiping with her claws. Learn from my mistake and DO NOT buy these and then walk into a situation with a false sense of confidence.

If you need to bathe your cats and don’t want to get scratched up, I highly recommend these. We had a ringworm outbreak that required frequent bathing and I needed a protective layer to protect my skin. I’d wear latex gloves underneath and these worked wonderfully. I got a few small scratched that got through but nothing deep enough to even feel during the bath. They really work. Highly recommended!

While they may be good for risk of knife cuts or abrasions while working, the knit of the kevlar is fairly large which would allow teeth and claws to puncture between the loops of the knit. If using with animals, wear a rubberized garden glove over top. I'll keep these for construction style work.NO GLOVES ANYWHERE stop pain with bites. You'll always have bad bruising and swelling, but the point is to keep the teeth from breaking your skin. These won't be as effective for that as well-made heavy leather welding gloves.

I bought this pair of gloves for working on car exhaust and it does work very well. When I am holding onto hot exhaust while wearing the gloves, I almost don't feel anything and I definitely won't get burnt.

Nice fitted glove, easy to move around with it and grab anything, but does not work for. Cat bit and scratched me through it. Not recommeding at all unless you have a freindly cat - and then why would you need it? Just pure fancy gloves but NOT for animals.

The gloves work well but the sleeves offer little protection from cat claws and teeth.
