Top notch! Better than Ray-Bans!
I used to be hesitant about purchasing sunglasses over $10. I couldn't understand why people would buy expensive sunglasses besides the novelty of sporting a brand name on their face. But just over 5 years ago, I tried on a pair of Kaenons at a surf shop, and since then have owned several pairs. Their nice enough to wear in a suit, but functional and protective for just about anything. I've worn mine sailing, hiking, motorcycle riding, etc etc. Perhaps the best thing about them is the lens quality, which explains their cost. The lenses are absolutely clear and fantastic to look through. They're also polarized and impact resistant, and you can't get that kind of quality for $10. In fact, you might actually say that it's a whole lot of bang for your buck!Back to the Clarkes, I was originally looking into RB Wayfarers. Comparatively speaking, I have a large, round face that most models won't work with, and after trying several sizes of Wayfarers I didn't like they way they looked or felt. Checking the dimensions on the page, I pulled the trigger and went with these. They fit great, and definitely can work with small or large faces. The style is inspired by the wayfarers, but these feel much better on my face, and are much more pleasant to look through. Pricewise, they are competitive with Polarized Wayfarers and similar models, but I know the lens quality is much much better. Totally recommend! I'm already thinking about another pair in black!Last bit, Kaenon has some awesome customer service. When the lenses on my Gauge's started to wear from the saltwater, I sent them in with $5, and got them back with new lenses!

Kaenon polarized in a retro stylee
Kaenon Clarke Black Label is matte black with grey polarized polycarbonate lens that lets in 12% of the light, pretty dark. They have a small gunmetal grey "K" jewel on each side. The wayfarer style frame feels slightly wider and more flexible than Ray Ban's proprietary original (the 55/18s or 52/22s) These are technically 56/19s and they fit my larger than average noggin more naturally than the ray ban originals. They are also significantly lighter, not having the crystal lenses, and not nearly as rigid. The question with the Kaenon, for me, has been the lens durability. I originally had their Rhino's, the lenses are still like new. Then I got Jetty's for me and Delights for my wife, they both had to be returned to Kaenon to have the lenses replaced, the new ones seem to be holding up but never fit as securely as those they replaced. The lens material breaks down and permanently fogs from salt in sweat or some such issue. If these hold up, they will be my go to shades, a handsome lightweight alternative in the classic wayfarer style.

Lightweight and comfortable
These glasses are great! They have nose grips that are discreet and don't leave indentation. I've received compliments in just the first time wearing them. The satin finish is phenomenal in hot days (no fingerprints).

Incredible lenses
just got them yesterday, have always bought Von Zippers but had to give these a try. The lenses are great, give the world a blue-ish high definition tint. They have rubber on the nose, just wish they had them by the ears to ensure they stay on. Would buy again for $100, maybe $160, think they may be a little overpriced at the MSRP through.

Great Sunglasses As Always From Kaenon
I've bought nothing but Kaenons for more than the last decade or so starting with the old Kurbs back when only bass fishermen wore them. Now Kaenons are growing in popularity and it's easy to see why. These glasses have always been great quality and they have several great styles that work for everyone. The Clarke's are no different. I was hesitant to order sunglasses online because not every style works for my face. However, I've had such great luck with Kaenon that I went ahead and ordered these. The Clarkes are super versatile. My face is pretty big and I simply can't wear any and every style out there. These work for me but I can tell they'd work for someone with a narrow face as well. The style and size of these really work for anyone. Don't hesitate to pick up a pair of these sunglasses. And if you've never tried Kaenon before give them a shot. You'll be a fan.
