Best backpacking tent I've had!
Getting a sealant separately to seal up the seams was a bummer, but everything else about this tent is great! Requires trekking poles, which I plan on having anyways during long hikes. TONS of space! I'm 5'11 and found plenty of room on both ends. Very wide also, easily fitting all the rest of my gear inside with me OR under the front flap. Setup is very intuitive. After two times you'll have it down.

Trekker tent 1.2
Amazing product, everything came as described. This tent is very light and durable, very undervalued by it's shown price.

**UPDATED RATING** Initial rating: 4/5, Updated: 2/5FABRIC NOT WATERPROOF!I initially only had it out in light showers, and it was fine. What I thought was condensation turned out to be the fabric being over saturated and in heavy rain the top ridge became a leaky faucet. Despite the ridge being taped inside AND silicone sealed from the outside, it was not stopping the rain. If you're a fair weather camper who sees rain very rarely, I'd still consider this tent. If you know you're going to be in a consistent downpour, I'd look somewhere else.I'm mainly a tarp guy, but I've been doing more and more solo trips, and I sleep better in a tent. It's a weird false sense of security, so I was in the market for a solo tent.Very inexpensive tent. It's waterproof, easy to set up, seems durable so far. It IS a single wall tent, so you'll have to choose campsites more carefully.+2lb 5oz for tent and stuff sack+Very roomy for one person+I haven't had to baby it, it feels very durable+Plenty of guy lines and tensioners included (I replaced mine)~Stakes are copies of the MSR mini groundhogs. Seem solid, but I replaced them with my titanium shepherd hooks so I can't really comment on them~Vestibule isn't very large and might be difficult in bad weather with the small front door~Minor ugly stitching sections that are only cosmetic-Not terribly tall. I'm 5'5" so it wasn't a problem, but something to consider if you're a bigger person.-Condensation. I don't even really want to put this as a negative because it IS a single wall tent so that's almost a given, but I think a beak on the back end instead of a grommet for pole would allow for some mesh and much better airflow, but it probably wouldn't be a 35 dollar tent anymore. I'd argue I'd pay double for that, but I pretty much didn't hesitate to buy at 35 bucks.Gonna be hard to find a better value on the market. Light, reliable (will update in a year after more trips), and inexpensive. 4.5stars

Light, packs small, easy to use, and very affordable!
Chose the 1.2 after seeing others easily set up and enjoy their 2.0s. I wanted something just as light, but with a vestibule for shoes. This could sleep two without a problem, but might feel crowded if the two are doing a lot of sitting around inside since you can call only sit up in the front. It was literally freezing outside but condensation was not bad - I had waterproofed both outside and inside tent as River Country recommended. Easy set-up and take-down. Highly recommend!

Good lighweight tent
Great tent and size for what I am using it for as I will be hunting in AZ desert during August so it is exactly what I need to pitch a quick camp. Will definitely water proof the seams as suggested.
