I was shopping around for a grow light for my indoor garden. I didn’t want one of those ugly purple grow lights. I also didn’t trust the unknown brands selling LED lights. I bought this lamp because it produces a lot of white light, uses little energy, and it’s made by GE - a reputable and well known company.As far as usage, this light is very very bright. It seems practically instant-on. It’s also lightweight and runs cool. My little indoor garden will love this.September 2019 Update:My indoor garden is going bonkers with this light! This light took my little sweet pepper from a two leaved seedling to a four inch tall plan in four weeks. A basil plant went from two tiny leaves to a three inch plant in about two weeks. I'm excited to see how my sage, parsley and dill develop. I just bought a second light since my garden is growing faster than expected. I highly recommend this light!December 2019 update:My little indoor garden is going crazy. I just harvested a huge bunch of parsley and dill. I have a pepper plant that is gigantic and has several huge, beautiful red peppers. I now have kale, arugula and chocolate basil seedlings starting. I ordered two more lights since it’s been going so great. I’m so happy!January 2022 update:The lights are still functioning normally and plants are thriving. Not a single LED has burned out. I’m still very satisfied and I’d buy them again if I were to expand the garden!

These lights are truly remarkable!! They work excellent on all of my plants. I love them and will purchase more. They are a must for areas that need more light. I use the 48 inches under a glass console table, and the 24 inches is connected to my bookshelves using zip ties to mount them up. I love these lights.

Perfect for starting seeds! You can move it around too. It started in my mudroom where it stays 70 degrees for the seeds to germinate. Now, it’s in the garage for the starters to acclimate to cooler temps.

Bought this as a test grow light for sprouting seed starts for vegatable gardening. Wanted to see how it stacked up to pro-grow lights. Installed as a hanging fixture in the greenhouse above my planting bench. 2 week test showed positive results in accelerating lettuce and basil starts. Night over night apparent growth once they get going. I bought the 40" version. For 50$ I'm pretty happy with it, but it's not super bright for the money. I'm placing it within 8 to 10 inches over my seed trays to get the light into them. I'd recommend 2 or even 3 of these side by side spaced a couple inches apart over your planting area to get some better light density. Fyi these are not even in the same ballpark as high end LED array style grow lights. I use a 350$ spider farmer 2000 light over another sprouting bench and that thing is like the light of the sun in the greenhouse. Can't work at the bench with it turned on even. For the money, these GE lights are pretty good for a budget sprouting setup!

Fantastic light! I actually have it as a growlight for live plants in a reptile enclosure, so an interesting type of setting but it's been working super well for it so far.

I simply love these lights for growing all my seedling's. They are perfect and very affordable.

I have two of these set up over a 20" x 48" heat mat and they are working great. They give good light coverage over the whole mat, and two of these fixtures are brighter than four T8 fluorescent tubes over the same area. Also nice that they daisy chain--they each have an outlet on top of the housing.

Excellent grow lights. They have a connection to allow connecting them end-to-end and sturdy hanging chains. They work great for starting my veggie garden indoors.
