I bought it for a David Cassidy look-a-like and Palos Verdes surf scene type.He absolutely loves it.Brilliant, beautiful, beloved gift. Very grateful to all who helped sort out the mail snafu. The links that the clamp connects to are incredibly cheap. They aren't completely closed, meaning at any point in time, the necklace can pop right off of your neck. It's happened to me both times I've worn it. As far as the actual puka shell portion of the necklace, I haven't had an issue with it. I will say that they're sitting on an extremely thin piece of wire, but as of now it seems to be holding up. Hope this helps.

My 14 year old daughter bought this for herself and loves it. The only thing she mentioned could be improved on, is the inability to fit all sizes. She loves it for herself, and wanted to buy one for a friend that is bigger, but it wouldn’t fit around her friends neck. Would be perfect with a longer chain.
