Replaced broken original recoil starter with this one.Sturdy construction; holes aligned with existing mount holes.

Fit my '98 Toro. Screw holes lined up just fine.The handle was not shaped the same as the original, so I was not able to fit the handle back through the cover on the top of the mower. I ended up cutting a few plastic tabs out of the cover and threaded the handle through the bigger hole. Can barely notice. I've used it a handful of times, and I can't complain.

This replaced an original part on my older craftsman push lawnmower. The original is metal. This is mostly plastic so I anticipate it breaking soon. It did last the first use. All the holes lined up but it was slightly off putting the plastic gas tank cover over it.

Had to drill new mounting holes and reposition.

Only problem is it doesn’t fit my toro engine cover very well but still works fine.

Works great. Had to remove some of the engine cover by the pull cord area, because this replacement is a little larger in that area. I used an angle grinder to remove some of the plastic on the back side.

The first one I received broke, but the replacement came very quickly. Have not had time to give the new one a work out.

Works as it should
